Wonderful Ribs!! 11/3/2006

Shorty's in Longmont is a great casual bbq place for ribs and brisket. Their ribs practically drip off the bone and the meals are served in reasonable portions. The menu lacks variety and forget about the kids having any choices here - there are no kid-sized barbecue meals, only dry burgers and mac & cheese. Worth a trip just for the ribs! To die for 8/8/2002

We've been traveling to Shorty's Pit Bar-B-Q since they first opened in 1977. We've lived in the south and have NEVER found Bar-B-Q that even comes close to Shorty's. Absolutely the VERY BEST Pros: Best Bar-B-Que ever, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service Cons: No reservations, Closed Sun & Mon, Baby backs only 3days more
