Shibui Japanese Restaurant

I've been to Shubui a few times and I love it. The menu is huge, the atmosphere is great! The service is not bad. Its a real nice place.....parking is good even though this place is always full of people. Thank god its two floors and not a whole in the wall.....=) more

I have been to many sushi places and this one being around the corner from my home, I thought would be great because it has been there for a very long time. I didn't find anything special about there food. I would rather go to Benihana for sushi before I'd go back. And for all you can eat sushi, Taisho is Definitely worth a try.. shibui is THE place for sushi and other japanese fare. from the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted by staff who are unfailingly pleasant, attentive and accommodating. as for the food, the louisiana rolls alone will keep me going back forever. you can have your choice of atmosphere all in one restaurant...downstairs is perfect for large groups with or without kids, the floor seating upstairs is perfect for an intimate date or double-date, and the sushi bar is a perfect place to take the kids or sit by yourself. there's even a t.v. and did i say that the food is great? it is. neither i nor anyone i've ever gone with has been disappointed in anything we've ever ordered and i've been a lot! it's a little pricey, but well worth it if you don't mind paying a little more for quality. I've been dining at Shibui's for about 3 years now. Of course a friend recommended the restaurant since I would have never found it. I've tried sushi from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale and I always come back to Shibui's, my favorite is the Caliente roll, and tuna tataki, with a good saporro and let's not forget the fried cheesecake. Caliente rolls can be imitated but once you try Shibui's you will never go anywhere else. It is well worth the drive. more

Not only is the sevice great but they definetly have the best sushi in town!!! I give this place 5 stars in book...it's great for a dinner date or even just to go hang out at their sushi bar upstairs with friends!!
