GREAT FOOD 1/30/2011

I don't know what these last couple people are talking about. I come in at least 2 times a month and the service has always been good. The food is great, probably the best sushi in town and when you go in you have to try the Carribean roll because it is SO good (it has mango on it!). The habachi food is really good too but my favorite is the stuffed flounder with crab and spinach. Everyone should give this place a try and the happy hour is AWESOME: half off all alcohol you can't get any better than that. more

DO NOT EAT HERE! Bad Service, Fishy Sushi...an All-Around Fa 6/9/2010

We were in Savannah for Memorial Day weekend 2010 and decided to eat sushi on Saturday night (5/29/10). We chose the restaurant because all the reviews said it is the best sushi in town. Well they are all wrong. The sushi was horrible. When it finally came close to an hour after we ordered every single type of fish seemed close to spoiling. Not fresh and tasty?all had a fishy taste and slimy texture indicating a lack of freshness. Included in our order were eel, salmon, tuna, octopus, whitefish and more; I say this to indicate that it was not one kind of fish but rather everything on the sushi menu which tasted old/spoiling and fishy/horrible. Every single roll was rolled inside-out also which annoyed me. Our waitress came to our table literally one other time in the hour that we were there waiting. When she came by (then 35 minutes after our arrival/order and 20 minutes since we both ran out of drinks), we asked her where she had been. She made the excuse that 2 waitresses had called in sick and so it was only her and one other girl. Well, did the chefs call in sick, too? Her excuse justified the horrible attention & drink service, but not the 1 hour wait for two people?s sushi order. The restaurant wasn?t even full. The atmosphere is no good also; there is no sushi bar?even more suspicious now that I see the quality of sushi they are turning out. I read on their site or somewhere that the owners were Japanese, so I was expecting some real legitimate traditional sushi. This place tasted like the last 15 minutes of the all you can eat buffet at Ru-San?s left out in the sun for an extra 24 hours until the fish was nice and ripe. Don?t eat here. I am not writing this review out of spite but to save anyone else from the terrible experience my wife and I went through. Did I mention that the sake was luke-warm? There is more, but I have written enough. They literally failed in every category possible. Based on this abject failure to perform I cannot believe that we merely caught them on a bad night or that our experience is the outlyer. No?there is something Rotten in Seasons of Japan, and if you eat there you should expect nothing but suffering and disappointment. Pros: Nothing Positive to Report Cons: Fishy Sushi, Bad Service, Bad Atmosphere, Long Wait, Price more

Awful, you will regret eating here! 3/13/2009

Awful, just awful. Pros: Sometimes the beef is okay. Cons: Everything else is awful, especially the service! more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER 8/11/2008

Begin with sitting for 18 minutes before ever even greeted by a hostess or any staff member. It was dead inside therefore there should be no excuses. Hostess knows nothing, not even the type of alcohol served ""im not the waiter"". Waiter comes out minutes later, ask for specific gin , dirty up. ""what is that?"" MARTINI. 12 min later, wrong drink comes out. Menus were left after we palced the order. Two of the three orders came out wrong and none of the entrees came out at one time. Silverware was asked for three times, we had the food before we had utensils. I clarified when my food arrived, this was the wrong order. He looked at what he had written and I thought he agreed, 15 min later, still, no correct food order. Seemed to acknowledge mistake but I was wrong, inquired again about my food order being incorrect and waiter then tells me ""Oh, no that is what you ordered"", did I repeat myself three times to be argued with? Even if you ask questions the staff doesn't know anything, basic knowledge of menu does not exist. I could understand if this was a cheap place, it is mid-level in price. The teriyaki chicken, more than half of it was dark meet, that is not mentioned in the menu and it was drowned in teriyaki that tasted like it was from a bottle in the grocery store. All around worst experience, terrible staff and worst service ever. Don't waste your money. Pros: location in historic Savannah Cons: STAFF, FOOD, POOR POOR SERVICE, not knowledgeable about ANYTHING more

Fun atmosphere, quality food! 5/30/2007

I visited Savannah for the first time two years ago with a small group of friends and stumbled upon Seasons Asian Bistro after a disappointing dining experience the night before at ever-popular (why?) Lady & Sons. Needless to say, it recovered our poor dining experiences in Savannah for us, and we've made it a regular stop on our yearly trips to Savannah. There wasn't a long wait and the food and atmosphere were perfect for a romantic setting or for a small group of friends to talk and laugh. We were lucky enough to be seated ""on the floor,"" a raised bamboo floor area in which the tables are set down into. This ""feel"" made for an exceptional experience on top of the quality (and reasonably priced) bottles of wine and exceptional Asian cuisine. Whenever I hear of someone going to Savannah, I quickly recommend Seasons Asian Bistro and advise against The Lady & Sons. Pros: ambiance, decor, seating, service, pricing, food & wine quality, little wait time Cons: none! more

A bit disapointed 1/25/2007

I enjoyed the ambience and was expecting great things but was a little let down. I had one of curry dishes and it was rather bland. Service was prompt and very nice though, I will probably give it a third try sometime soon. Pros: beautiful setting Cons: food was a bit bland and a bit too pricy more

Awesome experience 8/23/2005

The dining room is absolutely beautiful, the staff is attentive but not intrusive and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were so impressed with every part of our experience at Season's -- we will definately go out of our way to return to this gem of a restaurant. The wine list also has some nice, reasonably priced selections. Don't miss this place! Pros: Service, Food quality, Wine List more
