Our server wasn't to great but thats nothing to judge a restaurant by. The food was amazing and talked about for a long time afterwards! The small bar and friendly bartenders kept us pleasantly intertained while we waited for our table, which wasnt too long. But the food was amazing, plain and simple. Pros: Food more

Scomas is one of the finest places to eat at Fisherman's Wharf. We eat here every time we visit S.F. The staff is courteous and efficient. The amount of food for the price is excellant. We always recommen Scomas to our friends who are visiting San Francisco. Pros: open reservations, plenty of food for $$, great views Cons: too busy/weekends more

Not cheap, but great! 2/15/2003

Went here in Feb 2003. Get in before 7 to avoid wait, even on a Tuesday night. HUGE portions. Great wine selection. The best part is the people - they know their fish, wine and service ethic. I can see why a trip to the Bay area is not complete without a stop here. Pros: service, great food, public transportation more

Teen Review! 2/14/2003

The food at Scoma's was excelent! This restaurant is perfect for a nice date. They could be a bit quicker with the drink refills and the place can get a bit crowded. Other than that the food is worth every cent. (even for a colege student!) Pros: Great food, Quick service, Reasonable price Cons: Very crowded, Refill service more

Tasty 1/21/2003

Liked Scoma's a lot. Tasty food, very fresh fish. Had the prix fixe menu which was a value in comparison to the other items on the menu. The place was packed, and everyone seemed to be enjoying. Our server, Heros, was a kick in the pants! Would definitely go back again. more
