Diverse school, and large campus. 4/2/2006

San Francisco State University is a quality school, with a large number of resources. Tuition has been rising along with other expenses. Class sizes are extremely large, and difficult to get. There is great value in attending San Francisco State, however there isn't that great of feeling that there is a community. Since a majority of the students are commuters, there isn't that sense of school spirit presented. One of the better values in terms of education in the city, but not the best. more

San Francisco State University 3/28/2006

I really was not impresses with San Francisco State university. I found that they did not really offer as many types of degrees as I expected. I also did not like the fact that the scince degrees were sill considred BA's. It was just a little strange. And there are so many people that you cannot graduate in four years unless you take summer school. They should have a more efficient system of getting people in and out smoothly. more

SF State 9/22/2005

I attended summer school at SFSU for 2 summer sessions. My experience there was amazing. My professors were very knowlegable. They were always around for the stdents to help with questions. Class size was a bit large, but that is what you can expect from a state school. Also the student population was grat. Most of the people that I encountered were wonderful. Students here tend to help each other more than being competitive. It was a great school experience more

Higher Education at its WORSE! 8/18/2005

Over the years, San Francisco State University education quality has fallen drastically. Tuition has risen by almost five hundred dollars over the last few years, while less and less classes are being offered. At San Francisco State University there is no such thing as a four year rather five-to-six year plan, if your lucky. more

many of my friends attend this school and this review is from their opinions as well as mine. this school is very diverse and have many people who live in san francisco attending it. the dorms are pretty cool. nightlife? well, this is san francisco, so anything goes here. academics here are not bad. take business as well as biological classes here. great school to be at. more
