Royal Inn

There were lots of restaurants to choose from and gas stations near by. I felt safe and Wal Mart was 2 lights down so I could get whatever I needed. It wasn't costly and the rooms were clean. more

convenient location to all restaurants, shops, and activities compared to the other hotels in the town. more

very friendly folks,but the room was atrocious. the front door didnt lock, the towels were stained and horrid, the carpet was poorly stretched indoor/outdoor...television worked, and there was a desk but the chair was 2 feet too short, so desk was not of any use; ac worked, but controls were broken, just sitting on top....1/10th of a roll of toilet paper, when i asked maid in morning for a roll, her eyes got big and she said i would have to ask manager(good luck)....i got a roll from him, but he was sure I was going to steal it...no sir, just wanted to wipe my butt!! all in all, very sad. I try to do business with the small guy, but it was apparent that he was over his head, didnt do any repairs, yet charged a hefty fee for the night. I think my days of taking chances with independents are over...this place left a very bad taste in my mouth. more

Do NOT stay here. This was the filthiest room I have EVER seen. There was bodily fluid on the bathroom door, food and who-knows-what on the walls, food remnants in the drawers of the desk and nightstand, no hot water, filthy floors, filthy tub, horrible odor, continuously wet bathroom floor, ragged and stained towels, etc. The ceilings are stained from several water leaks. The only clean things were the sheets. The website states such lies! There appeared to be some ""remodeling"" occurring (wheelbarrow and work tables fashioned on the balconies and on sidewalks) but I think it was really repair work. I don't think there was a clean and immaculate room in the whole place to satisfy the website's claim. Stay away!!! Cons: Everything more
