When you move into a relatively small town, you find yourself walking into places you might normally pass by. One Saturday morning, my daughter and I were out getting some donuts, when I decided we should stop into Royal Crafts and Collectibles. They have a lot of neat woodwork items out front- benches, chairs, etc. All hand painted, with neat designs cut out. Their business spills out the front door, to pull you in.
This is one of those types of stores where people have (I assume) rented space to sell their wares. Each little section is personally designed with various themes- Buckey gear, vintage kitchenware, hand-sewn dolls & animals, and so on. The furniture that most of the items are sitting on, are also for sale. Some of the furniture looks very dated (but typically well preserved), and then some are from the 50's and 70's.
If you're in the market for some cute vintage collectibles, it's a neat place to check out. You probably want to have some money on hand, though. A lot of the stuff is pricey- perhaps to make up for the rent the store owner charges for each station? I have no idea. Some items are decently priced, though. In any case, if you have time to kill and love looking at unique items, this is a great place.
