10/10 Fast Honest Service 4/14/2011

I called Rocket at 9:30 am and had my springs, spring tube and wires replaced by 11:30 am. Honest and straight forward service. Tom keeps the business small so you wont pay for corporate greed or technicians hired off the street. He has been working in the business for decades so he knows what hes doing. Most important his tool trailer looks like it has rockets on it. You can't go wrong with this guy. more

What more can I say than great! 4/13/2011

I've read some of the other reviews and really all I can say is ditto. The service was fast, friendly and very fairly priced. I would recommend to any and all. Throw away all your other garage door contacts and coupons. You will not need them. Call Tom. more

Excellent Fast Service 4/7/2011

Called Tom late in the afternoon and he came over that same evening and had everything running smoothly in about an hour. Tom thoroughly explained all options and charged a fair price. Would highly recommend! more

Great Service from an Experienced Pro 4/5/2011

Tom absolutely knows his stuff!! This guy is an experienced service professional that answers calls in a timely fashion, shows up when he says he will, keeps you updated on progress, explains the issue, provides honest opinions and choices of repair and is quick about his work. After I explained that I could not close my door for the night with the door partially off the tracks he came to my home at the end of his work day (9pm) to get me taken care of. I wish all service professionals were really professional like this guy!! more

The best garage door service ever! 3/28/2011

I had delayed on getting my garage door repaired for a couple of years. Sad, but true. Finally, the spring broke so I was at a point of no return. I called Tom and he was immediately able to assist me. I didn't even have time to get a 2nd opinion! That was a blessing on my part because Tom was able to meet me when it was convenient for me. more

The only garage door service I will ever use. 3/27/2011

Being new to Plano and having just taken possession of a brand spankin old foreclosure home, I was apprehensive about spending too much to replace the ancient garage door opener. I looked at Citysearch and went with the best recommended door service provider I saw here and I am glad I did. Tom is not only an honest, hardworking individual, but he is ethical and genuinely cares about his customers. My dilapidated door opener was replaced in a prompt manner the same day I called at no extra charge. I had done my research online and was happy to see that Tom ''Don't Call me Sir'' (said made him feel old) told me the exact same thing the experts at a well-known magazine recommended. My door was adjusted, my opener was replaced and everything was done considering my budget. I will never use any other garage door service as long as Tom and Rocket are around. more

Service you would recommend to your family 3/22/2011

I hate having to get things fixed around the house. You have to try and guess who is being honest with you and who is trying to gouge you for money. But when my garage door got bent/cracked (embarrassing story involving driving without closing ALL doors to your SUV) I got Rocket Garage's info from a good friend of mine. My friend has a repair business and really knows who the right people to call are. I called Tom and I couldn't have been more pleased. He was prompt and reliable. He did excellent quality work and was honest and very price conscious in meeting my needs. Rare to find kind of person. Knows what he is doing, does it well, takes pride in his work and keeps the cost down. He definitely goes on my list of ""I know a guy"" referrals when someone asks me if I can recommend someone really good. more

Rocket was recommended by my neighbor, and it was a good recommendation. Tom is the first garage door service person I'd ever encountered whom I trusted was doing the right thing for me. He delivered great, timely service, and gave me a great deal with a great warranty. I'd recommend him to my friends. more

WOW, Great Service does exist!!! 3/15/2011

I was going to call 3 companies for estimates, but only made two call. After speaking to Tom, whom was my second company call, I knew right then that I wanted him to do the service call. He was very knowledgeable and explained thoroughly what caused the garage door spring to break. I would highly recommend Rocket Garage Door Service to anyone in need of a great garage door repairman. Pricing was fair, but service exceeded my expectations. more

Tom really put the ""Service"" in Rocket Garage Door Service 3/10/2011

I actually called another company when my garage door spring broke at 5:30 tonight. Lucky for me they were not able to take the call, so they referred me to Tom. He rushed right over and did not charge me any fees, eventhough he had to work until way after 8:30 pm to fix the door. He explained everything to me and was so knowledgable. I have not encountered this level of customer service in some time. I would highly recommend Rocket to anyone with a garage door problem. His price was also very fair. This company is definitely a gem! more

Tom (owner/operator) came to my rescue on a Sunday morning after the builder-installed spring on my garage door exploded, trapping my wife's car in the garage. He is *extremely* knowledgable and took the time to explain every aspect of how a garage door should work. His pricing is fair and his work ethic is second to none. I would highly recommend him. more

Rocket Garage Door Repair = Great Service 3/6/2011

Its Saturday night 7pm and getting ready to head out to dinner. What happens next? In our hurry to leave we forgot to lower the reach hatch on our SUV and backed right into the garage door. This knocked the door of it's tracks and ruined our plans. Well we called Rocket Garage Door repair and had Tom at our front door within 30 minutes. Our door was back to business and working better than before by 8:30pm. Prices were far less than the other places we called and he was very professional. more

Rocket is the best around 3/1/2011

I called Tom around 730pm and told him I had a big problem with my garage door. He was there in less than an hour to help me out. Totally explained everything in great clarity and then proceed to work magic on my mess and I was back in business by 930pm. Call him !! He is outstanding and so are his prices. more

Immediate response. Tom, the owner, is very experienced. He evaluated the garage door problem quickly and accurately and was up-front on estimate for repair. Job finished quickly and professionally for a very reasonable price. Work is guaranteed. Would definitely hire him next time a problem arises. more

Great Service Fast and on time 2/21/2011

I called Rocket from my office. Thomas had the parts I needed and was able to complete the job at my home in short order. Tom also took the time to show me what caused my problem to begin with, and gave me some low cost solutions to safeguard the door from further damage. Great experience, I would recommend this service to anyone. more

Best Garage Door Repair; Very Professional 2/20/2011

Tom did the troubleshooting over the phone, gave me a ballpark estimate, offered to come right away (11:00 pm) without a surcharge. His work was fast and superior to any other we have ever had. The charges were exactly as he said they would be and he warranted all of the parts for life. They never charge a service call fee. Rest assured I won't ever use anyone else when I have garage door problems. He even educated me on what I need to do to maintain the doors and know when I need a tune up. Thanks Tom! more

Refreshingly Honest, The very Best. 1/27/2011

I would rate him 20+++.My son met Tom yesterday. We needed the door on or home fixed and he said call him , ""he seems nice"". Well my son called him today he met with us within 1 hour, explained everything and actually showed me the bad parts. We had checked online for parts alone and the price he gave and guarantee was the BEST ever. Tom had the work done in a few hours and even fixed other items not on the list , did he charge a service call , NO . Did he charge extra Definately NOT. Rocket Door Service is the most Honest, dependable and extremely reasonable company I have had the pleasure to do business with. I would and will recommend him to everyone, business or personal, When he came out to give stimate , he stayed and did the job right then. I can't say enough good things about him. I give the HIGHEST rating to Rocket Doors. Don't look elsewhere more
