Remedies Day Spa

This is a review for the Remedies Spa on Central Ave in Whitefish. For our honeymoon, my husband and I went to the Whitefish area. We wanted to end our trip with a relaxing day at the spa. We made appointments for a massage for each of us and a facial (which they call a fassage) for me. We arrived and were taken to separate rooms for our massages. My room was very cold. I had goosebumps the whole time. The lotion they use (which I think they make on site) was gross and left a film that took a lot of soap to remove. We also noticed that the scents we picked out were not detectable in the lotion. After our massages I sat down to wait for my fassage. I was ignored, so I asked when my fassage was scheduled. They knew nothing about it and were unapologetic. They said they were booked full for that day (however they were able to move up a massage for another client). Remedies is a quaint, friendly spa with therapists who are both warm and skilled. We were greeted with smiles and fresh baked cookies. A wonderful massage, a deep tissue for my beau, and a relaxing one for myself followed. The scrub was my favorite part, as you got to go to the kitchen and pick out the ingredients that sounded most decadent to you. (They make all of their own products at Remedies) Massages and cookies aside, I would not be writing this review if it were not for the wonderful people working at Remedies. My male counterpart and I spent a good half an hour following our treatments chatting with a therapist, the owner and her husband. We left feeling that if we lived in Whitefish, these could be our friends. Not to mention we were incredibly relaxed after a great massage. Thanks! more
