This is one of my boyfriend's favorite restaurants because he loves spicey food. The chef is from New Orleans and definitely has a cajun background. The menu has American dishes with a cajun flare to them. \r

We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and it was really good. The first time I went there, I had the ribs. They definitely tasted re-heated, and they did not have a slow-cooked taste. The sauce was good, though. The second time I went there, I had the roast. Again, the meat tasted re-heated. It was soaked in a nice gravy, though, and that made it okay. The last time we went there, I ordered the NY Strip. It was cooked well, not too overdone. However, it lacked seasoning. \r

My boyfriend has ordered several dishes there, and he has loved all of them. He has ordered both chicken and seafood dishes. My impression is that maybe these dishes are their specialty. \r

Raz's is a bit expensive for what you get, but not terribly so. It has a nice, cozy atmosphere. It is a little dark, which is nice. There aren't usually too many kids, so that's good.
Pros: Good atmosphere, nice selection and service
Cons: A bit expensive, not too good with meats
