Professional Tree & Landscape Construction

The owner, Larry is incredibly rude and previous posts are correct about his behavior. He wanted to cut down all of the trees on my property without consent and then continued to harass me about the work. He was also verbally abusive. I have no idea how he stays in business the way he treats people. more

I just had Professional Landscaping cut down 24 trees for me. They had to work around fences septic systems and other obstacles. They did an amazing job. They cleaned everything up did little extra things that I had asked without a gripe. I wanted some fire wood, so I asked Larry to leave me some sections of trees that I would cut up and split. I know that he wants the wood himself,so what he did was to give me 11/2 cords cut and split to make up for it, which I thought was pretty good. more

I would never do business with this company again. I have hired many professionals over the years and this company is one of the worst: Overpriced, rude owner & damage to my property.\r I noticed the sprinkler system was not working after they left. Found severed wires. Asked Larry to pay for the damage and he screamed at me saying he never would have charged me such a good rate ($3650 for a spring cleanup!) if he had known I'd ask for money back. Finally gave me a $100 but the additional damage found cost $1,000 to fix. Also threw debris into the protected wetlands across the street. A company that won't take responsibility for it's actions isn't a company I'll do business with. more

I to hired "Professional Landscaping to landscape my front and back yard. The language used toward me was unreal. I've worked construction many yrs.and never in my life would I speak to a customer the way Larry spoke to me. Now the good part. They came out did all the site work and when it came time to hydro seed they skimped on the product and most of my lawn did not come up. When I called "Professional Landscaping" To come back and reseed I got more profanity sent my way with much laughing. To quote Larry " WHAT'S THE MATTER YOUR LAWN DIDN'T COME UP" This company should be disbarred from the Landscaping industry. more

I completely agree with the latest review by nicolo!\r I was extremely surprised to find such vicious attacks on this well conducted business! \r I was looking for the company's phone number on google search as i needed an estimate and quotas regarding the removal of ice and snow from my yard and also the eradication of dead/decaying trees. \r Every season I use their services for this activity and also contract them whenever i need a new laying of grassy carpet and rearrangement of the yard (whenever my wife wishes that is..)\r \r I understand we are going through economic hardships but i would have never expected such disgusting attitude towards a hardworking American enterprise more

I used Professional Landscaping services to remodel my front and backyard, including work for installing my Swimming pool in the New Bedford area.\r This company has been recommended to me by clients and friends in the area for its expertise and good quality/price ratio.\r The bogus regarding the rudeness of the owner, and the malpractice regarding invoices and estimates is just false.\r The boss, Mr. often shows up himself to provide his expertise regarding possible prices and issues regarding the implementation of the plans. Multiple options are given regarding quality and time of executions of the works. \r If you are not happy with your options I am sure they will accommodate your wishes.\r \r It appears to me that the bad reviews here can only come from unfair competitors who take advantage of anonymity to talk unfounded misinformation regarding this business. more

I had the same exact experience when I asked for an estimate. I first called and left a message. They never returned my call. When I called again and spoke to someone I was told I would get a call back. Never did. more

The experience may be pleasant at the beginning, but it seems that the owner feels entitled to continue services without a prior estimate for any future tasks. \r \r Our last experience was horrible. When asked to provide an estimate and a time frame for doing the work, he would not respond. After months of waiting we hired a new landscaper to do some minor work that needed immediate attention, but coincidentally the next day the owner sends his crew to perform a job that we had not agreed on any given price or date. His response was offensive, verbally abusive with profanity. To calm him down we offered to pay for the "costs" of mobilizing his crew, which even exacerbated and provoked more aggressive and verbally insulting behavior, with the f word of course.\r \r I would only recommend this company if you don't mind being insulted by your "professional" landscaper. We have also learned in our street that other neighbors the do not hire this company anymore. more
