My printer paper feeder jammed, I called and took it to the Printer Repair Depot. Dan came out helped me carried it inside the shop. After he took my name and phone number, he opened my printer top, and found right side of inside top in wrong spot. He pointed to it, and said, ?This caused it jammed!? He also found and removed one metal piece of staple from it. He told me, ?It done, you can take it home.? I asked, ?How much I owe you?? He said, ?Nothing.? I said, ?I must pay you something.? He said, ?No, remember us and tell your friends.? Dan also carried my printer to my car for me. I recommend Printer Repair Depot for your printer repair!!!!!! more

Watch out for these guys. I gave them two stars because they did eventually fix my printer, and so far it works pretty well. Not perfect, but a lot better than when I took it in. That?s the good news. The bad news is everything else about this organization. When you take your printer in, they?ll tell you they will get back to you in a couple of days with an estimate. A week later you still haven?t heard from them, so you give them a call only to be told that they are kind of backed up, but they will have something for you by the end of the day. Sometime late the following day you actually get a call, in my case telling me the print head needs to be replaced. The price sounds OK, it?s about the price of a new printer, but that?s probably not these guys? fault. They tell you it takes a couple of days to order the head in, and a day or so to install it. Then another week goes by with no word, so you call them back. This time they tell you that Brother, (or HP, or EPSON, or whoever made you printer) is not the fastest at shipping parts, and they still don?t have the head in. You ask them to check on the status, and receive the customary reply, ?We?ll let you know by the end of the day.? They don?t call, of course, and you spend another week fondly remembering the days when you used to be able to print things. After that week goes by, you call again. This time a miracle has occurred and your printer is actually ready. In fact, they tell you, it was ready five days ago. They tried to call you, but since their caller ID is blocked and you don?t accept anonymous calls, they couldn?t get through, so they just forgot about it. Odd, you think, since they called you from their shop to tell you that you needed a new print head and that call came through. When you ask about it at the shop you get several versions of how it?s all somebody else?s fault, followed by the owner telling you he ?Doesn?t think it?s any big deal,? as he turns his back and walks around the corner where he no longer has to bothered by lowly customers. Bottom line on these guys, if you want your printer fixed and don?t care how long it takes, or whether they keep their promises, or how they treat you during the process, then the Printer Repair Depot might be for you. However, if courtesy, customer service, and feeling that the establishment appreciates you business are at all important to you, you?ll be better off somewhere else. I know I will never go back. more
