As a working mom, I knew that I needed to find a good daycare for my son - who would be only 2 1/2 months old when I needed to return to work. I started my search at 6 months pregnant. I had a list of 2 or 3 daycares to visit, and Primrose at Friendswood was the first one my husband and I visited. We were both immediately comfortable there - it smelled clean, looked clean and organized, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Even though we were only interested in the infant room at the time, they took the time to tour us around the whole school. We visited the other 2 places on our list after that, and even though they had lower tuition rates, they just didn't give us the good feeling that we had at Primrose at Friendswood.
We have since moved out of town, but my son attended this school for his first year. I don't think there could be a more caring staff - administrators and teachers alike. Although I anticipated some guilt over bringing my infant to daycare, I never really felt that way because the teachers were extremely nurturing and knowledgable in caring for my son. In fact, as a first time parent, I learned a lot about my son's development from the Primrose staff. They also offer a lot of extras - events for parent involvement, parent's night out. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their infant or toddler.
Pros: Extracurricular events, Parents Night Out, Awesome teachers
Cons: Parking
