2 guys came to my house to help unclog my drains within an hour of calling! Another company flaked on me so I needed something quickly. They knew right away what to do and got to work. After about an hour everything was unclogged and I was happy! The only thing that wasn't professional was their clean up. Since they were unclogging my pipes there was some "sludge" that came up and they didn't clean it! There were drips all around the house when they were carrying the snake around. They also pulled some roots out from the outside and just left them on my sidewalk. It wasn't anything big - but if I'm paying for this, they should clean up after themselves. Overall, they did the job, came out very quickly and I was satisfied. more

We just had a new kitchen counter top installed and the sink drains were not located in the center of the sinks. Steve came in looked over the problem and quickly came up with a solution. Within a short period of time he had the sink plumbed and was on his way. He was a delight, very professional and knowledgeable. People like Steve give your company a great name. more

We have a difficult kitchen faucet to replace -- when the kitchen was remodeled 33 years ago, the sink took up so much horizontal surface area that the faucet must be mounted on the vertical wall behind the sink. This is the second time in 33 years this faucet has needed replacing, and this time the one we'd used before was no longer available (several years ago, there was only one available at one plumbing supply place in our geographic area). The technician made several calls to try to find something that would work this time, finally having to go with an industrial / commercial faucet for our residential kitchen sink. It was either go with this one or have all the sink plumbing replaced! We were kept informed during the entire process, each step of the way, what was happening; even though the tech had to go track down the replacement faucet, and he didn't originally start until late afternoon, we had our new sink faucet installed by early evening. The tech was polite, knowledgeable, and very informative. We will definitely use Preferred Plumbing & Drain whenever we need a plumber. more

sorry, I do not have the paperwork in front of me or near by, but I will tell you that from start to finish the experience was nothing less that superb. Look up our service persons name and he will confirm that we were impressed that the service was so prompt even on a weekend and there was nor surprise or hidden cost!! I could go on, and I am in customer service on a daily basis and expect it. Rarely does it happen to my liking but you guys on this job went over and above. Replacing old sink with a new stainless steel sink. Technician may have been a newly trained employee. He spent time on the phone for instruction, & took many hours to install sink, but did get the job done. The sink didn't quite sit properly, so the inside rim was cut down, which is a routine obstacle, and a front tile was cracked & broken which will cost me money later. The install was a success. more

I had three workers, Joe Hernandez and his fellow employees J.R. Singh and Nathan Gonzalez who did and excellent job repairing and replacing my broken sewer line. These men worked tirelessly into the night. They made sure everything was perfect before they left the job and were back early the next morning to finish the job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a professional and excellent job done in a timely manor. I will be sending all I know who need any plumbing job done the right way. The installation of faucet took an extremely long time due to original faucet being wrong, and the sink being a pedestal. I was extremely frustrated due to plumbers being here until 11:45 pm, I had to work the next day and was not happy. The supervisor discounted the labor to help compensate for the issues that took place, even the the wrong facet was my fault. The plumber was understanding and discounted the rate, which compensated for the late evening. Your plumber took a bad situation and made it right for everyone involved. I will use you for my next service. Your plumber took care of the situation. I will recommend. more

He's the best contractor I have ever delth with..."hands down"!. You don't find many harworking honest guys like Tom-he's a rare find. I would highly recommend Tom!!! more

Dan stuck his vacuum in the sink and it immediately removed the obstruction from the disposal, and he made a quarter turn with his wrench on one of the lines and it stopped the leak. Entire repair took less than 10 mins. Dan was very nice, professional and we would highly recommend your company. Thank you ! more

I had a worrisome leak in my patio faucet, so I called one other company before calling this one, and they were going to take a whole 24 hours before even coming out! Thankfully I called these guys and they were at my home within the hour. I was fortunate enough to get a plumber by the name of George, and he was absolutely wonderful and very honest about the minimal repair that needed to be done. Being a single woman, I am used to repair men forever, trying to plump up charges, and exaggerate the work load. These folks are different. My whole experience with this company has been a positive, pleasant one. Thank you much.. more

I was very dissatisfied with the service. First I was convinced on the first visit to go for what they call the house package. Which covers both baths for 90 days for $440. One week after the warranty expired I began having problems again. They said on the phone that didn't mean that I would be charged for the second call which I was($343). Both times they told me that because I didn't have an outside cleanout they would have to pull the toilet in the front bath and snake through there. Then they quoted me $4200 to replace the sewer line leading to the street and install two cleanouts one at the house and one at the street for the city. However upon inspecting for myself I discovered that I did in fact have cleanouts both at the house and at the street. Which they never found. Because of that they never actually snaked the main line to reach the primary problem. They also informed me that if I had an outside cleanout(which I do) that this would have only cost me $145. So after I discovered this for myself I informed them and said I wanted them to come back at no charge and snake the line from the cleanout(the proper way). Which they finally agreed to but only after my brother got involved because they didn't want to lose the business of his company. I am currently considering filing a claim against them in small claims court regarding this matter.
