Terrible service and price is way to high. I was a dedicated customer when we got a corn snake. I bought live mice from them but it was site unseen. They would go in the back and pick out the mice and bring it to you. Most of the time I received sickly mice and my snake would not touch it. The frozen mice adult they charge me a little over $5.00 with taxes for two. I vowed to never go back to them again. I found a site on the internet that sells the frozen for .45 cents each and with shipping, it comes to .78 cents each; still way cheaper than their prices. Never will go back to them for anything. more

Love this Store!! 7/25/2011

I went into this store searching for a cage for my chinchilla. The owner and her son were so nice and helpful. She explained all the ins and outs of having a chinchilla and told me what the necessites were for them. She then explained the other things I would need to get him along (toys, treats, etc). Unlike Petsmart and Petco that I had been to earlier she did not try to force high priced items on me. She told me that if I had any questions after I left to please not hesitate to call her she would be happy to help. I am now a customer as long as Pet Safari is in business. Thank you for such great service. Also the prices were very comparable to the big chain pet stores. more

Nice care for the animals 6/12/2010

i've been searching for ecuadorian hermit crabs for a while, and was pleasantly surprised to find them at Pet Safari - especially in such good health. the conditions are much better than any other pet store i've seen, with very lively little crabs. the other animals also seemed to be in great health: the birds seemed very curious and alert, the reptiles were active, and, at least from a distance, the fish seemed to be doing well. as someone who is less focused on being waited on hand and foot and more concerned about the quality and treatment of the animals, this store was a great find! Rude and unfriendly 4/18/2010

We went into Pet Safari looking to buy a bird and not a little bird we wanted an African Gray or something like that. We have had birds forever and know what we are in for. The ladie working comes up to us and is very rude telling us we don't know what were getting inot with this kind of birds and that we should own small birds first, when I tell her we have and I have read books and all sorts of stuff on this kind of bird, she tells me it dosen't matter cause I don't know. We are an Army family and we went in ready to drop alot of money on a bird, well lets say I picked my son up and walked out of that store and we will not return... more

Very UNfriendly staff 5/16/2009

I went into Pet Safari yesterday to get a bag of cat food. I was not greeted by any of the three employees that I walked by. I had to take the initiative to say hello a woman who worked there and she simply walked past me. There was only one other person in the store at the time and I was completely ignored. I decided to get my cat food from the Bi Low that?s next door. At least the grocery store had better customer service. I'll take the time to go to Pet Smart from now on. more
