Palladian Day Spa

I went for the first and last time to this place for my Brazilian wax. It's on their menu for $55 - they charged me $65. The young lady [she didn't introduce herself so I don't know her name] who did mine used regular wax [not the wax made specially for sensitive skin], needed me to help her hold skin taut [my hands ended up with a bunch of wax on them], did not wash her hands in my presence, did not warn me when she was ready to pull off the strip, and seemed unable to pull the strips off in one pull at least half the time. This was the MOST PAINFUL Brazilian I have ever experienced! She finished and did not clean up after herself [had me do it] and gave me no after-wax cream to quell the pain or prevent post-wax bumps. When I got home, not only was I bruised in multiple places, but I was also bleeding in several places. This definitely should not happen! I cannot, in good conscience, let any other person go through this if I can help it. That is a lot of money for such treatment. I will NEVER go back there for anything. more

I had a massage with Jessica, and it was one of the best I've ever had. She paid attention to my trouble spots and stayed away from the sensitive areas. I liked the fact that she used plenty of massage lotion--some people may not like that though.\r \r The one thing I thought was strange was that I didn't fill out paperwork when I went (it was my first visit). Doesn't matter though, I'll be back for another massage :) more
