Best Ever Restraunt 3/18/2012

We found this place one Sunday morning. WOW what a surprise, This is the best place we ever ate at. The meal is a 10** and the PIE well there is no words for that.. I have been looking for the Neal's for 2 days. Wanted to stop there again. But couldn't find where I wrote it down. Biut found it and can't wait to go there and eat and bring home 5 pies from there. I'm hoping when we go there that they can ship later to us. As we live in northern Illinois. People brag about pies. But this is the best anywhere in the world. And I have traveled the world for the best. And this is the Best. Thanks Neal to having the best food and pie in town. If you get by there it is a must to stop there. more

A Family Restaurant A Local Treasure 3/24/2008

Neal's serves the best fried chicken fixed in iron skillets. Its just like your grandma made for Sunday dinner. They serve real mashed potatoes and gravy and homemade pies from the crust to the top. It is a 4 generation family owned business that was started in 1944. Oh and by the way it is a hot pink cement block building filled with cedar tables and family treasures. It looks like you walked into 1950 and it will seat over 130 people. Ask the locals, this is the place to eat. When you drive up you will notice all of the pickup trucks. I promise you won't leave hungry!!! Pros: 2 Thumbs Up, Handycap Parking, Great Food ,No Mixes Here, Seat Yourself more
