Yet another touristy, kitchy sex shop. Except it's not really a sex shop. It's a novelty shop. Scented candles, lingere, stuff like that. Sure, there's some porn and some sex toys (vibrators, c--- rings, etc.) but none of it is really high quality. Go in to have some laughs, but don't bother buying anything unless it's a gag gift for someone. more

The second word is silent cause this site is rated PG-13. I like to window shop here very much. It's a great place to be awkward in while imagining your girlfriend or boyfriend strapping theyselves into some of this stuff. They've got lots of sexual wares for all your tame fantasies (i seen too much SVU to call it wild). I bet they sell lappy-tappy in here if you know how to ask. more

I'm kind of cheap. I don't even pay for porn. But the wallet will be leaping out of your pants (among other things) when you see the hot outfits or accessories you can dress your girlfriend up in. more

Get In The Mood 2/16/2006

The Mood is located on south street in Philadelphia. There is nothing dirty or degrading about this shop. It is small but it has everything you can imagine. If you are looking to purchase intimate gifts then you will have lots of options. Shopping is kept very personal so there is nothing to be ashamed of. My favorite part of the store is the educational videos they offer on enhancing intimate relationships. I have really found great information at The Mood I will use for the rest of my life. more

I like this shop because it is classy. They have good literature and nice lingerie. The store is very romantic to me. The way the products are displayed are nice as well you really don't need to ask for help too much. The prices are a bit high but I think buying something once in a while from theres is ok. It is also located on south street where there are many other shops and places to eat so the location is convenient. more

Looking for adult items, but not into sleezy adult bookstores? Look no further than The Mood on South Street. When you enter this store, you are awash in romantic, yet classy items. Candles surround you as you enter. Walk towards the back of the store, and you pass through a section of sometimes classy, sometimes racy lingerie. At the very back of the store is the fun stuff. They carry every toy you could want, plus a moderate collection of videos/dvds. This is a great place to shop due to it's class and it's humorous logo merchandise and advertising. more
