Whatever you do, be sure to stay far far away from Cricket's Corner Dog Rescue in Minooka, IL! They work with the Minooka Animal Hospital and they are the worst rescue group I have ever encountered. The woman in charge is a nasty, overly opinionated person who can not be trusted. more

Do not take your pet here! 10/10/2008

extremely poor service . staff is not patience with animal, Took my dog to get groom and when I went to pick him up they stated it was possible that he was injured somehow while get groomed and was limping so she was going to prescribe an anti inflammatory. when I paid for his grooming they charged me for the anti inflammatory and also gave me an estimated bill of 215.00 in case he doesnt get better in a few days they would have to sediate him and xray it. My dog was perfectly happy and healthy before going there and now is limping and injured. I will not go back there and advertize that others do not take their pets there, How could they have the nerve to injure an animal while groom and feel they owe no explanation and are not held accountable for improper handling. Excellent Care for your Pets!!!!! 9/9/2008

I can not say enough excellent things about this place. My family and I are a foster family for Guardian Angel Basset Rescue. Minooka is one of our approved vets to go to. We were so impressed with everyone here we now take our own pets here. We drive 40 minutes one way!!! It is worth the trip!!! They are all so caring, friendly and professional. Our cousin now brings her dog, and they live in Downers Grove. My good friend and neighbor also brings her dogs to Minooka now. I highly, highly recommend Minooka Animal Hospital!!!The Cochrane Family more

i had a similar incident in 2004 8/15/2007

i had a similar incident in 2004 my cat and i where the only patients and there where no surgery's going on because i asked . they made me wait in a room for 25 minutes. and wanted payment immediately i wanted to be billed, that was the first and the last time i ever went to the minooka animal hospital\r i felt my pet and i where very poorly treated. Pros: the place is never busy Cons: you will wait no matter what more

if you love your pet dont go here 8/15/2007

our 2 year old yorkie was groomed at this facility and his genitals and undertail where severly cut! after a few days with no improvement we took our yorkie in and the vet stated that the wound was from licking! our dog was in so much discomfort it could not reach its genitals to clean its own wound, i understand things happen but for some animal caretaker (a veterinarian) to lie and avoid any guilt makes me wonder what would happen if the wrong medicine or dose was given out!!! that day i went to another vet and took my six animal accounts with me.\r i would have been happy with an apology , as i stated i understand that things happen. what i dont like is COVER UPS AND LIES ! more

Our veterinarian commitment is to provide quality vet care throughout the life of your dog or cat, as well as pet boarding, euthanasia and vaccinations. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete veterinary medical and pet surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. Minooka Animal Hospital is prepared to take care of your pet in several additional ways. We provide dog and cat baths, Professional Grooming as well as pet boarding. You should also remember annual small animal vaccinations and tick and flea control, especially during the summer and warm fall months. Of course we provide spaying and neutering for cats and dogs, procedures which should be considered for those pets who are not going to be bred. We also recommend microchip ID for all pets in order to provide you with an avenue for finding your loved ones should they be lost.
