Michael Kaufman is a great lawyer! He made the time to answer all my questions and was very helpful in explaining the situation at hand. You can trust him to make haste with all your needs. He, most certainly, was a stress reliever in a high stress environment. He was even kind enough to come in on a Sunday (when he is not working) to meet up and get the job done. A very nice man who has what it takes to represent you to the fullest extent of the law. My whole experience with him was very straightforward and I would definitely recommend him to others. more

I am very impressed 11/27/2013

I give Mr. Kaufman a 5 star rating because I am very impressed with his over all handling of my case which was very efficient. He is very confident and informative, always let me know what to expect next, I never felt like I was left out in the dark. In fact, as soon as I talked to him I knew he was going to take care of everything and that was a load off my mind. His easy going manner made it easy to ask questions and I might add, he knew the answers to everything I asked. Thank you Mr. Kaufman for taking care of my case in such a way that you made it look easy, which I never would have believed when I began. more

His fees are reasonable 11/20/2013

Atty. Kaufman, is straight to the point and tells you exactly what is needed and what needs to be done. He will give you choices, specific time frames and assures you of all the assistance he can provide. Also, his fees are reasonable, what he discloses is what you pay, no hidden or extra fees. My file was audited 1 out of 1000, was nerve racking but he assured and gave me confident that he's on top It, and followed up with the auditors in a timely manner.It's a pleasure working with Atty. Kaufman on my file-no time or money wasted, Thank you. more

Friendly, professional, and well informed 11/15/2013

I must have interviewed more than 10 attornys before I chose Mr. Kaufman. He promptly returned my phone calls and handled everything in a professional manner. I definitely would recommend Him. He told me how to get the bankruptcy classes online for less than $50. whereas one of the firms I called was charging $300.00 for the same classes! He is really a great lawyer and I hope that you will at least give Him a call, I know that you will find him as friendly, professional, and well informed as I did. more

He was always generous with time and information 11/5/2013

We interviewed two other bankruptcy attorneys before deciding to use Michael Kaufman. He returned our calls more quickly and is equally prompt in answering email queries which was very helpful. He was always generous with time and information (despite a flat fee for service), and everything went smoothly. He always prepared us accurately and appropriately which was very reassuring. We had personal setbacks that delayed the process, but he never questioned us. We had business losses, lawsuits, and job changes during the process, and he managed it all seamlessly which was very comforting during a time of great stress. more

Life is good with no credit card bills! 10/30/2013

I can say one thing with absolute certainty: life is good with no credit card bills! And that's only the half it. It doesn't matter how bad my day goes: I no longer have to worry about due dates, late charges, high interest and that horrible, sinking feeling about runaway debt that is like--hell. Well Mr. Atwood pulled me out of the abyss, so to speak, and I have no intentions of ever walking (or stumbling) down that path again! As far as I know, he does not charge for the initial consultation, so if it looks as though there is no way out from debt, give him a call. After all, there is nothing to lose, and when you hit bottom, you can only go up! more

Mr. Kaufman is the best 10/23/2013

There are times when you need competent representation, and Mr. Kaufman is the best at what he does. It is a very comforting and reassuring feeling that nothing about his business is a mystery, and that if he's on the case you can breathe a much needed sigh of relief. He got me through the most difficult times by offering sound, professional advice and getting me over the hurdles that helped to get back on my feet financially. The last couple years have been an education, to say the least, and I am all the wiser, hence my motto now (I feel as sharp as a Hattori Hanzo sword), and am much better prepared to manage my financial future. more
