Mentor Family Foods

I love shopping at this store! It's a wonderful place to get everything I need. They always seem to have what I'm looking for, and if they don't, they scour all their distributors and outside sources to find it. It's great to see that customer service is not dead in Mentor. The meat and produce departments always have a fresh and wonderful selection. The advertisements are extremely competitive with the ""big stores"" and they have a wide variety of everyday low prices and in-store sales. Mentor Family Foods is a top notch store in a small family store shell. more

I love coming in to this store. They have the Best selection of meats and poultry and I am here to tell you that I have always gotten great customer service from the butcher, deli guy and the employees working the registers. Yes, some of the prices are higher than Giant Eagle on some items, but you are in and out in no time without have to go up and down 10 aisles to find what you are looking for. more

Have you checked out the DVD Rental machine? Now there's no reason to go to Giant Eagle. I like getting the movie in the original case not some plastic box. more

Great little grocery store. Sometimes the prices are a little high but every store has varying prices on different products. Pros: small enough to not get lost when looking for something. more

I usually don't post reviews but after reading the previous one on citysearch I felt like I had to. This store is great. The employees bend over backward for you to help you locate what you are looking for, or ever order things special for you. The prices are fantastic and the meat department has some of the best product in town. why someone decided to write a review about a carpet cleaner I have no idea, this is a grocery store. I have been shopping here for years and refuse to shop anywhere else. I hardly ever wait in line not because it's not busy but because they always open a register when they need to instead of standing around like Marcs and Giant Eagle. Unbelievably rude! They rent very weak functioning carpet cleaners!! Then say they pulls up water off our linoleum floor just fine! So oh well lady! Meanwhile I've sucked up 7 1/2 cups of water with a shop vac on the very small piece of carpet I tried to clean with the hunk of junk!!! And it's still to wet to walk on!!! Poor customer service, very rude managers & they have just lost a customer they have had sense they opened the first time! I'm gone and have taken my entire family with me and it's a big family!!! They don't do that great anyway...Now I see why!!! Pros: Go if you want, but keep the cons on mind when you do! Cons: Customer service comes second here... more
