The place is decorated nicely, no flourecent lights and the service is friendly. They also accept cards, which is great too.\r \r The peking duck was the best I have had in NYC. The duck still maintains its fatty moisture with a crispy skin and the real show stopper is the bread that the PD comes with. Normally, you get a couple ""quasi tortillas"" taht you wrap your duck in etc. These are steamed pillowey 4"" accross rice things, about 1/4"" thick. Really really nice touch.\r \r I also recommend the ShrimpBalls, dense 100% shrimp, abuot 25% bigger than a golf ball, and you get 4 for $4! The Shanghai Noodles are also really good, very light and fresh and nothing here is too greasy.\r \r Its a great place to eat and its a 3 min walk from the 7 Train. the entire menu is in Chinese. So if you're in the mood for cheap ($16.95 for 3 dishes, rice, and soup, $5 each additional dish), then grab some literate friends. Theres better food across the street at (sorry, I only know the Chinese name) Nan Bei Huh and Yangzte River Restaurant (esp. their pan-fried buns at the latter!). I believe they also have the $16.95 specials. The decor is amazing for a Chinese restaurant in downtown Flushing.
