Margolis, Steven, Md - Alternacare

I have been a patient of Dr. Margolis for over 10 years. I believe he is an excellent diagnostician. In addition, when referrals are called for, his have been excellent. He is one of the very few MD's in the area that has broad and credible knowledge of natural/herbal meds and protocols. I have a serious chronic disease that traditional medicine could not treat, Dr. Margolis started me on herbal alternatives that have kept me non-symtomatic for 10 years. I trust this physician. Most of my extended family go to him. His office is efficient. I have a very busy schedule and have waited no longer than 10 minutes to see him. He takes time to explain and answer questions. He never cuts me off when I want detailed explanations. more

My family and I have been patients of Alternacare d/b/a Complete Family Care for 17 years. Being in the medical field I can say this is one of the most professional, courteous and caring group of people I have ever met. Physicians are on time and extremely caring, taking time to really listen to their patients. The office is new and very nice. I would strongly reccommend this office to anyone seeking care for their entire family. more

Pt. of Dr. Margolis/AlternaCare for 6 yrs.. His practice was originally professional, compassionate & thorough. In recent years there's been a steady decline: patients only receive a max of 10 min. per visit, you can't speak with a doc via phone, the docs regularly run 1 hour behind, health problems are not given follow-up care, office staff is repeatedly rude with dirty looks & snickering, they demonstrate incompentency with record keeping & billing & it currently takes over 3 months to get an appt. with now no evening hrs. available.
