Although it's not exactly the kind of place to sit down and enjoy a good meal, Maoz delivers on what matters most, the food. The falafel is always fresh, and the fried eggplant is incredible. The pita bread is decent, but the real star of Maoz is the salad bar. Toppings for falafel include a variety of chutneys, fried cauliflower, corn, seasoned onions, couscous, and beets. Try to avoid during peak dinner hours though, the place can get incredibly cramped and the salad bar can get quite uncomfortable. But by ignoring the ambiance, or lack thereof, you will find some seriously delicious falafel that hits the spot.
Pros: Falafel, Salad Bar
Cons: Small Space
