Completely overcharge! The vets are very nice and sweet, but their billing practices are outrageous. The first time we brought our puppy there, we were happy with the service and had anticipated a large bill, so the sticker shock wasn't there yet. But the second time (only a month later) the bill was over $400, and that was just for boosters, more worming and a month supply of heartworm and flea meds. At that time she said our puppy's nails looked long and did we want her to see if she could clip them- we said yes and held the puppy while the vet barely clipped about 4 nails. We thought it was a just a nice gesture, but then we noticed a $15 charge on the bill for it! more

I used this facility a couple of times with okay results. However, on my last trip, the lack of customer care and consideration was overwhelming. I had a miscommunication with one of the front desk clerks, despite repeating the information back to her for confirmation. This miscommunication caused me great duress, as well as costing me quite a few dollars. When I returned to pick up my dog, not only did they not apologize, they did not even acknowledge the incident. They acted as though it never happened. If you want good service, go somewhere else. I will from now on. more

I can't say enough good things about the new staff at Lenox Pet Hospital. They were warm and friendly and I could tell they really cared about my dog's health. They took the time to explain all his medications and really put my mind at ease. I just found my new vet! more

I just went and took my dog for a well pet annual visit for her vaccines. I was in the room with the vet for about 5 minutes, she was very nice but nothing to brag about. The problem I have is with the prices! I went last year for vaccines so I had an estimate in my head for cost but apparently they are under new management and have more than doubled their costs. (p.s. Dr. Bressman isn't there anymore) For my 20 pound dog to get her vaccines and heartworm test was $234!!!!! No annual blood work, no heartworm or flea prevention, nothing extra at all! In the previous year the exam was no charge and the DHLPPC was 28.50, now its a $58 exam fee and $64 for DHLPPC. more

I recently made a last minute appt. for my dog to get his ears checked out. I thought I would try a new vet out with a simple problem. I used a coupon for first time visitors which waived the $53 Physical Exam fee. They told me on the phone that I would just be responsible for paying any other costs like meds and extras. So, I when I arrived, I noticed it smelled like a kennel that had never been cleaned. The lady at the desk was busy with another customer. She didn't acknowledge me until 10 minutes later. I was the only one in the waiting room. We proceeded to weigh my dog and was put into a room that was much cleaner than the lobby. (Thank God) The vet read the chart , listened to his heart and said my dog had an ear infection. He gave him a Vetalog injection and prescribed an Otomax ointment. I asked if it just might be a wax ball that needed removal since it happend once before. He said no since the scabs from itching is in the outer ear, but never looked into the ears with an ear probe! I also mentioned that his glands might be full since chasing his tail was a sign, so he expressed the glands. Pros: Last minute appts. Cons: Overpriced, unsanitary lobby more
