Well, it took three tries, but as they say . . . third time is a charm. The first time we went to the Goldfinch location. But be warned, that location is now closed while they ramp up the new location at 3750 Sports Arena Boulevard, and will reopen sometime (unstated) in the future as a boutique style location. The Second time we tried to go on a Monday. However, be warned, they are not openned on Mondays. So the third time we were finally able to try it for the first time.\r

As stated by others, this restuarant is very popular. So popular that it is often difficult to find parking, and even more difficult to find a table during peak hours. Yet, this is only more proof that the food that they serve is good, possibly great.\r
If you are use to southern barbeque, I hate to tell you, this is not it. Pulled Pork, Pork Rubs, Hot Sausage Links, Briskets, and pieces of white bread are not to be found here. Even worse dry ribs are not an option, as they only serve them wet. However, what they have is pretty good, and their sides are even better.\r
What is served is Beef Ribs, Whole or Half chicken, and pork shoulder. The ribs are fall of the bone tender, and the pork shoulder is well cooked. The barbeque sauce is a tangy tomato base number which is light and has a good after kick. Yet, it is not Memphis or Texas Barbeque by any means . . . but well worth the wait.\r
Try their potato salad, which has nice hearty chunks of potato, not the potato mush that one normally finds. Also the macaroni salad isn't drenched in mayonasse as is often found at other places.
Pros: Good Ribs, Helpful associates
Cons: Crowded Parking, Beef Ribes (not pork)
