My boyfriend and I have been to Biryani of Latham about 5 times -- in a month. I have to say, every time is a treat. The staff is courteous, the food is GREAT, and the atmosphere is nice (especially considering it used to be a Pizza Hut). They let you choose how spicy you would like your food to be, and, even if they didn't, I bet it would taste delicious. Let's just put it this way -- if Biryani of Latham started giving out bumper stickers (or even selling them), I would most certainly display one on my car. I plan to invite friends there in the future, so I can show them this great spot. more

Latham Biryani -- Don't waste your money! 4/3/2010

Good: Nothing. Bad: Quality, atmostphere, clientele. Food was picked over. Dishes that were supposed to contain meat had no meat left and nothing was there but thin liquid with grease swimming on top.. Improvements: Change of ownership would be the only way I could see any improvement. Other: Website is misleading. Interior looks nothing like what is shown. Food was stone cold. Soda watered down. We were packed in like sardines. Stayed less than 10 minutes, left in disgust. Go to KARAVALLI instead! Less than 10 minutes away, but WORLDS apart!. more

Great cheap Indian food! 2/1/2006

This restaurant is not much for aesthetics. It's housed in a building which used to be a Pizza Hut. But the food is great. You get free papadums to start out, and I totally recommend the vegetarian options, such as the Aloo Palak. Their Chef's Special Naan is incredibly delicious, and if you are craving a dessert, get some of their yummy chai for afterward. Easy to park, and very quiet usually. more
