Lane Bryant seems to constantly invent new & different ways to add insult to injury for fat girls. Their clothes are rarely stylish, almost universally badly cut & unflattering, and tend to be overpriced for the fabric and style they represent. Unless you're looking for a flowy paisley top or baggy jeans, they're not for you.
The Eastchase location suffers from another problem - horrible, awful, appalling service. While there are 4 or 5 employees in the store at a time, there is never more than one register open or anyone available to unlock a dressing room. Asking for help from the girls in the store is akin to asking a dog to drive your car - downright stupid and impossible to achieve.
There are better options for plus-size clothes in Montgomery, like Avenue and Old Navy, who don't provide such awful service. If I were you, I'd avoid Lane Bryant until they figure out how to design clothes in line with current trends and hire a staff with some customer service know-how.
