Exceeds all expectations 9/17/2016

Coming here from a very small town, I was so blown away by this hospital. They offer so many different programs such as phtysical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and it is just amazing. This hospital exceeds all of my expectations that I had coming in. EVERYBODY that works here has been so good to me. They are so attentive to my needs and they go above and beyond for their patients. It is difficult for me to be dependent on others and the nurses have helped me so much and constantly remind me that this is what they are here for. I am very thankful for the care that I have recieved here and for their continued patience with me. more

Outstanding 9/15/2016

After being here for almost 3 weeks, I am very happy with my decision to come to Kindred. All of the nurses have been so nice. I did have one issue with a tech however, I brought it to administration's attention and it was immediately handled. The CEO of the hospital, Matt actually came to my room and spoke with me which I really respected and appreciated. Ola is one of the techs who I have enjoyed. She always checks on me to see if I need anything and she is so friendly and polite. She laughs and makes jokes with me and truly makes my day. They take such good care of me here. more

Good hospital 8/6/2016

I enjoy doing the physical and the occupational therapy a lot. The food could be better but it really is a great hospital. I am happy that I chose this facility and would return if I needed to. more

Caring 8/6/2016

The one thing and most important thing is that this facility CARES. Everybody cares. They will go out of their way to do anything for me and I am so thankful. Nurses and staff like this are hard to find but they have it here. They are all just really nice people. As far as my progress goes, every single day I get a little bit better. I have had to go through some really heavy surgery when I was unable to even sit up. Now, with help, I am able to walk. When I press my call button, they are quick to respond and to get the staff that I'm needing. There is not much more that you could ask for from a hospital. more

Better than the rest 8/4/2016

I have been here for almost two months and am very excited to be discharging today. The nurses always helped me when I needed it. The doctor comes to see me when he says he will. Overall I had a good stay here. I would advise anybody to come here if they had to go anywhere. Compared to other facilities I have been do, the service here is better than the rest. more

Happy with the care 8/3/2016

My dad has been at this facility for almost a month now. We have no complaints or issues. My dad continues to progress and get better daily. Dr. Reddy performed a port procedure for dialysis and she did a really great job. The nurses are really good and helpful. My dad likes Dr.Moran a lot. Overall, we are having a good experience and happy with the care that he is recieving more

Great hospital 8/3/2016

This is my second time in Kindred and this stay has been really great. When I first got here I had to be transferred to another room with a roommate. At first I wasn't looking forward to it but then after meeting my room mate I was very greatful. We ended up having a lot in common, he was a very nice and friendly guy. The staff knew exactly what both of us needed and paired me with just the right person. The departments communicated well together to figure out a schedule that worked for me like going to dialysis and doing PT. The night staff was really kind about bringing me snacks when I needed. All of the staff has been really good. I would recommend this facility to my friends and family. It was also a very smooth transfer from Baylor to here. They communicated well together and it only took about 10 minutes to transfer over here. I'm very glad I returned to this facility and if needed I would return. more

Above and Beyond 7/29/2016

I have been at Kindred for several weeks and am happy that I will be discharging today and going home. Although I am ready to be home, the staff here has made my stay very comfortable. Matt the CEO is amazing. He worked with our family very closely and alleviated all of our issues. JJ the tech was excellent. She went above and beyond for me without being asked. She just jumps in without a thought and that is a blessing. All of the techs are wonderful and very helpful. The only issue I had was the food could have been better. Overall I am happy with my time here. Tony in respiratory also stood out to me. Very bright and always had a kind word to say. All of the staff that I mentioned are people that I would want to take care of me at home. Matt even came up to visit with us on a Saturday. We are very greatful and would recommend this facility. more

Great hospital 7/29/2016

I moved my dad from the Kindred Hospital in Houston to the one up here. So far my dad and I both love this facility a lot better. The nurses and doctors are great, especially Mrs. Terra, a nurse. She had been taking great care of my dad during the day. more

My stay has been enjoyable 7/15/2016

We came from the Kindred in Florida so that we could be closer to family and get further help. When I first arrived I was upset and I clashed with a few nurses but soon after the staff and I got better aquainted things progressed and my stay has been enjoyable. My wife and I both love Mari, our case worker. She has worked hard on my case and has a really great personality when dealing with patients and families. T.M. more

Great hospital 7/15/2016

My dad transferred to Kindred from Baylor hospital and we have had a great experience. To me, what stands out the most are the nurses. They are all very kind and will sit with me while I ask them all of my questions and I don't feel like I am intruding on their time. They genuinely care. The techs are also really good and help with anything my dad needs. I am very pleased with out decision to come to Kindred more

I have been in and out of hospitals since February and Kindred has been the best hospital I have been to. The nurses are AWESOME! I get along with all of them, we laugh and talk. They treat me better than a patient. They have treated me like I am family more

Wonderful experience 7/13/2016

I have been at Kindred for about a month. The nurses and techs are wonderful and I really liked them. Even the doctor's were good and very kind. I especially liked Dr.Ferree. He speaks to me in a way I can understand and really cares about his patients. My overall experience was enjoyable. I would refer my own friends and family to come to this hospital more

ICU staff 6/17/2016

I am currently in ICU here at Kindred Fort Worth and everyone has been great! They have taken GREAT care of me, both day and night shift. I like aggravating Jan, she's fun and takes it so well and is an excellent nurse. Renee is another excellent nurse here in ICU. She always keeps my wife updated even when she is not my nurse she helps out the other nurses with my care. Therapy has been working with me and I call really feel a difference. I have enjoyed my time here but I am ready to work hard and get where I need to be to go home. Chadwick more

All of the staff have been great... 6/14/2016

Willie showed compassion and gave me a lot of care of care in ICU even though he was not my nurse as well as floor. He helped shave my face and always tried to solve any problems I was having. Terra was also another stand out, she is patient, kind and helpful. A good word to describe her is genuine. E. Edmon more

Most teams stay beyond their scheduled time if needed and they give their all when needed. They show support. Call button works wonders. Every doctor and nurse help you with their specialty. more

Bitter sweet 6/8/2016

This will be my second time to leave Kindred and it is bitter sweet. I have had several nurses pray for me before leaving to go to TX Rehab. I have made many friends both times being here and will miss them all dearly. EVERYONE of the staff has been great. I will truly miss everyone from Kindred Fort Worth. more

Thankful for everyone at Kindred 6/6/2016

I have been at kindred for a little over a month and my stay here was better than average. The nurses are good but the one who stood out to me the most was a CNA named Kay. She had the best personality, she always had me laughing, brought me extra coffee and was always there to help. She is really good. I like her a lot. I liked everyone in therapy but they worked me out so much I am ready to get home and relax. I enjoyed Dr. Ferree he's a great doctor. Thankful for everyone at kindred but I am more than ready to go home and see family and friends. more

The staff treats me with respect 6/6/2016

Everyone at Kindred has treated me with respect and have been kind. Matt, the Administrator, has been great. He is a GREAT guy and CEO. He got me a jug of coffee creamer and has tried to make my stay here as comfortable as possible. Gerri with staffing has also helped make my stay go well. All of the staff has been personable and sit and speak with me. Georgia sits with me at night and we talk about family. I've really enjoyed my time here but I am ready to discharge and have a steak! more
