Everything has been really good while my mom has been a patient here. She's been here for a month and we haven't had any complaints or issues. They have taken excellent care of her here. She transferred from Parkland and we are very happy that she ended up at Kindred Fort Worth. Staff is friendly and always seems to be on top of things. more

Kindred 3/14/2018

Everything was really good during the time that my mom has been a patient here. Clyde in respiratory was great. Very compassionate and friendly. Cynthia is ICU was wonderful. She always had a positive attitude and seemed to just really care about my mom. I'm very thankful for those two specifically. Everyone here was very nice and often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Irma our case manager did an excellent job of communicating with us and in between the doctors. She was wonderful. I'm thankful that my mom was transferred to this facility. more

Excellent 3/13/2018

I have had a great experience at this hospital. Everyone is extremely caring and helpful while they are taking care of me. When I press my call button I get a quick response and never have to wait very long. It's a very clean facility too. There are two techs that have stood out to me. Yvette and Meme. Everyone here does a great job but these two take it to the next level and are very personable. We chit chat when hey come in to check on me and you can just tell that they enjoy what they do here. I have been more than satisfied during my stay here. more

I have been at Kindred for over a month and have received excellent care. All of the staff has been very nice to me and my daughters who are always here with me. Hannah was the first nurse I had here when I arrived and she was so welcoming and sweet. It put me at ease so it was very good to see here when I first came through the doors. Therapy is wonderful. Especially Vanessa the speech therapist. She was very thorough and careful when I was trying to learn to swallow again. She also would always let us know what time she would be back in the next day. We've had a great experience and are very thankful for everyone here. more

Kindred 2/20/2018

I have been a patient a Kindred Fort Worth for about a month now. I transferred here from Baylor. The transition went very smoothly and staff was welcoming when I arrived. Mark and Xavier from rehab were really good. They would just talk to me and treated me like a normal person and not just another patient. Some floor staff that stood out to me are Cynthia, Yvette, and meme. They always went above and beyond to help me and came to check on me a lot and before they would leave even when they weren't assigned to me that day. They just seemed to really care. more

Could not ask for better 2/20/2018

The professionalism here stands out to me. If I hit that call button they come running to assist in whatever I need. I went to Harris hospital for what I thought was a UTI. I ended up having an infection in my blood. I woke up from a coma 3 days later and I immediately said that I wanted to be taken back to Kindred because I knew the excellent care that I had gotten there before. They all do their jobs really well and during my last stay they hooked me up with Kindred At Home as my discharge plan. And they were phenomenal. Dr.nwabude is my wound care doctor and Dr. Parvatineni was my other doctor. When I came back even the doctors remembered my name from the first time I was here. I feel like that says a lot about the care that you receive at this hospital. more

Great staff 1/18/2018

The staff completely made my stay in the hospital. They lifted up my spirits and made this the best situation it could possibly be. I've been here for a month after I transferred from Baylor. Mark and Xavier in rehab were awesome. Really funny guys and treated me like a normal person and not just a sick patient. Cynthia, Yvette, and Meme were really good too. They frequently came in to check on me even when they weren't on my unit. They would come check in on me before they left for the day just to talk and see how I was doing before they left and making sure I didn't need anything. They're all so good here. I highly recommend this facility. more

Excellent 12/11/2017

My stay here was very very good. The staff members treated me and my family with respect and care. Cynthia is one of the nurses who I especially liked. She was always on top of things and knew what she was doing. She took great care of me. The food was great as well. There are lots of choices and the kitchen is very accommodating to what I liked and didn't like. 5 stars all the way around for this hospital. I was here for almost two months and did not have any issues at all. It actually started to feel like home. more

Highly recommend 11/28/2017

I have been a patient here for almost two months and have had a wonderful experience. I was brought here from JPS and they spoke highly of this facility but I did not know what to expect. After being here, now I understand the ranting and raving about how great this facility is. My doctor has been Dr.Ferree who I loved! He came by to see me daily like clock work which I know isn't typical in most hospitals. He developed a great treatment plan for me and is to thank for the healing of my infections. JJ one of the aides always did such a great and thorough job of caring for me such as bathing and those things. When I had her I knew I was going to be taken care of and tended to at the upmost care. Linda Duckett one of the nurses has been my absolute favorite. She is the kindest, most gentle, and sweetest person I think I have ever met. I enjoyed getting to know her and am thankful that our paths crossed. more

Excellent customer service 11/14/2017

This is my second time to be at Kindred Fort Worth. I admitted here in September left in October and was only out for about a week before I was transferred back. Both times were great. They provide the kind of care that you would expect and want from a hospital. Your life is literally in their hands and to say that I trust them with my care 100% says it all. I can't say enough great things about the staff here. They are all kind and professional and work very hard. If needed I would definitely come back and would highly recommend this hospital to those considering coming here. more

5 star facility 11/8/2017

The pulmonary rehab gym has been wonderful for my husband. His progress that he has made here speaks volumes and I am very thankful for this facility and all of its staff members. They have been very kind to us and truly cared about my husband. He was transferred here from Baylor and we heard nothing but great things about this hospital so we choose to come here. Now I can see why everyone speaks so highly of this hospital. They're passion shines through more

Nice hospital 10/20/2017

I transferred here from Baylor following an infection. I admitted at the beginning of this month and am happy to say that I'm discharging on Monday. The food is great. There is a lot to choose from, large portions, and it's all very tasty! All of the staff here goes above and beyond. I can't point one out over the other but I will say that if you want to be placed in the best possible hands, then come here. Every time I pressed my call button I got a quick response which was a relief. This is a very nice place to be if you have to be somewhere other than your home. The location of this hospital is great too. It's in the medical district off of 8th avenue so my family had lots of options to choose from when it came to eating and my husband could also stop by Starbucks and grab me a coffee on his way in! more

My brother has been a patient here and we have been very pleased with the care that he received here. All of the staff has been spot on in tending to him and have taken great care of him. Discharge planning went very smoothly too. I am more than happy with the turnout of his stay. more

Wonderful treatment 10/9/2017

This is the third time that I have been a patient at Kindred Fort Worth. I have never had any issues during any of my stays. This time around I felt very at home and especially well taken care of. My room was very nice and clean and was managed well during my month long visit that I was here by housekeeping. Nurses and techs were great. They are friendly and don't just come in my room to give me my medicine when needed. They actually talk to me and treat me like a friend rather than just another patient. I feel like I am in great hands each time that I have been here. They do a wonderful job and are wonderful people. more

Wonderful staff 9/22/2017

I have been more than pleased with my treatment here at Kindred. The staff is so kind and professional. My ambassador was Dennis Evans and he just made my day! He made sure to come by and check in on me daily and he was always so sweet and always had a big smile on his face. There are some very special people that work at this hospital. I highly recommend! more

I am discharging today from this facility and I highly recommend it. The staff was great to me and took such good care of my during my stay. 5 star facility 8/30/2017

I have been so impressed by all of the kindness that I have encountered from the staff members here. They have gone above and beyond for me which I know was not always an easy task. Mari, my case manager, kept me sane during my stay here! She is so incredibly special and I hope that she continues to do this type of work because she is phenomenal at it. L. Williams was fantastic. The energizer bunny has no thing on this great employee. Her work ethic was highly valued by me. Melanie was one of my nurses. She spent HOURS with me explaining each medication to me in great detail. She made sure that I was educated on all of the side effects and that isn't something I have ever seen before. Tony in wound care, his attention to detail is a real gift! He always knew what to do to make me feel better. Dr. Singh has been a god send. I will never forget our conversations. You are a wonderful doctor. more

Above and beyond 7/25/2017

My mother was a patient at Kindred hospital downtown and we have been pleased with her time here. Our case manager, Harolyn went above and beyond for my mom when it came to figuring out a discharge plan for her and for being a support system for me during this difficult time. I am so happy that she was our case manager as she provided us with so much support and information. She is a great case manager! more

Excellent 7/11/2017

This hospital is five stars on every level. The staff has been excellent in caring for my husband as well as helping when I need it too. The food is very good and the rooms are kept very clean. I always feel like I am heard despite not speaking great english, they always take the time to explain things to me and are very patient. I am grateful for all that they have done for my husband. more

Excellent Care 6/16/2017

I have been a patient at Kindred for almost a month and am excited but sad to be discharging today. I will miss so many staff members that are here because they were all so wonderful to me. The work ethic here is astounding. They truly try to do whatever they can to make it easier for patients and it did not go unappreciated by me. Several staff members were very special to me including Linda Duckett who went out of her way to make a personal connection with me. She talked with me abou God and kept me motivated and encouraged when I was frustrated regarding my lack of progress. Story, Sonia, an Shannon all have such great attitudes. Their smiles would brighten my day and was so contagious that it would make me feel better! Kashunna, Yvette, Keke, and Jose were all amazing techs. Yvette was so kind of making sure that I was bathed. SHe was so kind and respectful and understood that being clean helps you to feel better too. She made sure to make sure that I was in the right frame of mind to get better. They're all such good employees and I will miss each one of them. more
