Kenton County Golf Course

Fox Run Golf Course - Another masterpiece by renowned architect Arthur Hills, this distinctively different golf course provides a wonderful blend of architectural style from hole to hole. Here you will find links-type holes which somewhat resemble that of a Scottish golf course. There is a sampling of Carolina-type holes with drastic changes in elevation from tee to green. Finally, there is a balance of more traditional mid-western style golf holes - all of which gracefully blend with the natural terrain and surrounding environment. The absence of house and condo developments within the course allows the golfer to truly experience in its spectacular beauty. The Willows Golf Course a brilliant course design by architect Dr. Michael Hurdzan ranks among the top public courses in the state of Kentucky. The Willows course measures 6,734 yards with a rating 72.6, a slope of 137, and a par of 72 from the back tees. This design is a real challenge of golf, for any skill level player. The back side of the course is arguably the toughest nine hole test in Northern Kentucky. A magnificent design with sloping greens and tree lined bent fairways. Its a beautiful venue for the golfer to experience nature and the game of golf as one. The Pioneer Golf Course was the first course to be built at the Golf Courses of Kenton County complex in 1968. The Pioneer is a test with elevated greens with challenging putting surfaces. This course offers an open layout that allows the beginner golfer to really enjoy the game of golf. It is most like mid-western courses, slightly sloping on the front nine with increasing slopes on the back. It is easily the most walkable course at the course at the complex. The Pioneer measures up to 6,010 yards with a rating 68.4, a slope of 115, and a part of 71 from the championship tees.
