Good Selection high prices for a thrift shop...go to Sally's 2/26/2011

They have a very good selection. Lot's of items and well thought out store. Large and roomy. But they are a bit pricey for a thrift shop. 5 years ago i used to shop here religiously but, their prices keep going up. I think they know they have a lock on the local thrift market and they are gouging their customers. This is pretty shady since most thrift shoppers are low income. Everybody knows they get this stuff for free. I wa sin there today and they were charging $6.99 for a t-shirt! Seriously! A t-shirt for $6.99 in a thrift store! I'll still stop in to check the books but no more serious shopping im this place. They are a rip off. more

Best thrift store on the Island. I live in Nassau County and none of the thrift stores in my area come close to Island Thrift. They have a wide selection of clothing, shoes, electronics, baby items and more. I am plus sized and I had an easy time finding what I needed. Two thumbs up for Island Thrift! more
