I had Irondequoit lawn and landscape install a brick front stoop at my home several years ago. The work and price were excellent. I decided to call and have them do a spring clean-up on my 1/2 acre lawn. The customer service rep. said they would clean up all the leaves and yard debris, as well as hand rake the lawn. They would finish by mowing. As I watched, they completed the job without hand raking. Later I found many leaves still in the bushes and gardens. I called the CS person and he said they would give me $50 off or come out and ""touch it up"". As it would have been more than a ""touch up"" I said I wanted $100, he came back with $75 and I agreed. \r

I also wanted them to come out and lay mulch and stone in my many garden and hedge areas. The CS guy said it would be some time in May. Today I get a call from the CS guy and he said they wouldn't be able to get to us because they are swamped. He said they had to take care of their long-time customers. \r

Just to let anyone know, the two guys who came out to do the clean-up were very friendly and professional. The CS person (there is only one) comes across as arrogant and unprofessional. Evidently, Irondequoit Lawn and Landscape service does not need any new customers. Further, the crews do not give the service that is described by the CS agent. \r

Too bad, as an Irondequoit resident I like to use local companies to help promote my town. I was also impressed by the stone work they did and let many friends and neighbors know this. I now will have to tell them to stay away.
Pros: Local, Price
Cons: Customer Service Rep., Attention to detail
