I had bought a pair of white shoes for my wedding but wanted them a different. So i went the the shoe hospital and was greeted at the door with friendly people. I gave them my shoes and a small swatch of the color i wanted. In one week I had the most gorgeous shoes I have ever seen. The color was perfect!! more

After fighting traffic to get to the store. I got there at 6:01 pm after the store was closed. I saw Percy and politely knocked on the door. He was very cordial enough to answer me and I explained the situation that I fought thru 40 minutes of traffic in order to get here. He didn't have to let me in the store because he was already closed. He went out of his way to allow me to drop off these shoes which i needed to be taken care of. He also was very knowledgeable to provide additional services that needed to be done to the shoes. I agreed to his suggestion and was extremely professional. He has the best customer service in any industry and look forward to doing business with him ONLY there. Thanks Again more

After years of discarding old, worn-out timeless treasures, I am thrilled to know that a great pair, in the hands of a good cobbler, can have a second lease on life. The magnificent resole job Houston Shoe Hospital did on my Vittorio Russo's ? new heels and all ? is nothing short of amazing. They are literally new again, and I couldn't be happier to have them back in their rightful place on my rack where they belong. I'm simply elated. And Percy, the store owner/manager ? what can I say? This guy is the consummate professional. For a shoe hospital, he has to be the ultimate shoe doctor with intimate knowledge of every breadth leather takes. I am rather particular ? some might even say, eccentric ? about my shoes, which is why I tend to buy a second pair of every rare find, to ensure that I'd always have them. But it wasn't to be for my venerable Vittorio Russo's; there simply wasn't a second pair to be had anywhere in the world ? yes, I searched everywhere, even the great Amazon forest, to no avail! My lone pair had seen better days ? with soles and heels so badly worn, I stopped wearing them. But the mere thought of tossing them simply made me sick. It's not that I didn't know shoes could be resoled. Far from it. The simple truth is that many a resole job I've seen on feet other than mine are, frankly, nothing I'd want to wear. So, here I was, between the proverbial rock and a hard place ? to toss the one pair I couldn't stand the thought of losing, or take a chance on having them resoled. Earlier in the spring, I'd stopped in Percy's store on what was my first visit ever to any Houston Shoe Hospital, wearing a new belt which needed an extra hole or two for a perfect fit. Percy graciously punched two holes, after which I asked, ""How much do I owe you?"" Percy simply replied, ""Nothing, man. Come back to me when you've got a real job for me."" The entire encounter lasted less than a minute, and he could have charged any amount he saw fit, which I would have gladly paid. But he didn't. It was a simple but rare gesture of goodwill I would not soon forget. What impressed me even more when I did return is that Percy had no recollection of his good deed on that initial encounter. That tells you all you'd ever want to know about the man and the way he goes about building solid repeat-business relationships with his customers. If that's not a PhD in marketing psychology, I don't know what is. Thank you, Percy, for the great work you do, and best wishes for continued success always! more

I recently brought in a pair of boots to have the heels replaced since they were worn. We agreed that I would pick them up a few days later. However, that evening I found out I needed them the NEXT day for an event. I called the next moring and asked if I could have the boots expedited and ready for that day. Not only were they able to track down my boots in a timely manner, they were quickly delivered from the downtown warehouse location to the Westheimer store within a few hours. In addition, the heel was replaced on both boots and looked great. The quality of work was excellent as was the service. I'm so thankful for their service and would definitely reccommend going here for any shoe repair needs. more

I previously had an italian leather purse repaired. The strap hinge had broken and the repair was accomplished without the original hardware because I had lost one piece . The second hinge broke and resulted in my most recent visit. more

I live in The Woodlands however, I work in the Gessner/Westheimer area and pass this Shoe Hospital on the way to work every morning. Though I was satisifed with the place I was taking my shoes to up North... I no longer take my shoes to anyone else! more

My Shoe's are like dependable friends, I can count on them to complete an outfit. I say that to convey that I want to keep them functional and fashionable for as long as I can. That's where Houston Shoe Hospital comes in. Though I live in Sugar Land, I will ALWAYS be a patron at this location because Percy provides me with exceptional service EVERY time. Don't get me wrong, the Sugar Land location is OK, but this Westheimer location is GREAT because Percy goes the extra mile to provide you with both outstanding service and education on how to better care for your shoes. Whether the service provided has been a shoe repair, heel caps or sole guards, I'm always satisfied with the outcome. I'm pretty hard on my heels, so many of my shoes will require heel caps at some point. There's no doubt where I will take them, because the outcome is worth every penny when it comes to keeping ""an old friend"" around. Thank you Percy for always being friendly, courteous, understanding, and last but not least, giving my shoes a ""facelift"". I'll always recommend this location! more

Wow!!! From start to finish, I brought in a pair of prada shoes and a Louis vuitton Samur 35. Left them to be repaired the shoes needed a new tap on the heel and purse needed the strap braded back so i could carry it again. BOY!!! the guy was so nice and very courteous. I moved back to michigan but I will bring my shoes or purses to houston to be repaired by this shop. They are inexpensive for the service you get you can't go wrong. SIMPLY THE BEST . I came here to change the color of one of my favorite handbags which used to be a fantastic bright yellow Carolina Herrera, but after one year it becomes very dirty and opaque. I picked a blue color and to be honest I was nervous and skeptical about what would be the result. After 2 weeks I cameh to the store and that was hen the Woooow came s my handbag has now a very bright navy blue color perfect for the season!, I'm really happy with the result. The man did such a great work and he was so friendly and really paid attention on what I wanted ( even when my English isnt good enough he did a great job understanding what I wanted lol ). The only thing is that the leather isnt soft anymorevbut i hooe that change with the time and use.i will definitely recomMend this Store. more

I didn't have much expectations for what Houston Shoe Hospital would be able to do with my Adidas tennis shoes when I brought them in. It was the first time I have used a shoe repair facility to adjust an aspect of a pair of shoes. I needed the main shoe color to be switched from neon orange to burnt orange (on my leather athletic shoe.) They did an excellent job changing the color of my running shoes and I would definitely go back to them for shoe dieing. The fact that they can change a color shade of an athletic shoe is impressive. When you go in there, ask for Percy. He will take care of you. more

I was reluctant when I first went in to Houston Shoe Hospital because I didn't know how reasonable the prices were. I am really glad I went in! When they replaced the soles and heels of my old worn out shoes, my shoes sparkled and felt like a new pair of shoes at half the cost. more

I have used this location at Westheimer and Gessner twice in the past and have always received EXCELLENT and friendly customer service. I recently had an event that I need to attend and took a pair of my favorite, comfortable, designer high heels in to have the heels repaired and I needed them back in 24 hrs. Percy was very helpful and courteous and insured that my shoes would be ready in time for me to wear them to the event the next day. I value a business that offers great service and stands behind their work and the Shoe Hospital and their employees epitomizes that for me.
