The staff is very friendly and they will gladly work your vehicle in and get the job done very quickly!!! HOWEVER, the past 3 times we have taken are cars up there something goes ...

I've been a customer for years and I stop doing business here for years too. I remember randy that's when I stopped coming then I tried again a few years later when ken was there and he was the best and a really good people person and then mark I liked him too but these new guys horrible customer skills and after reading all these reviews I see I'm not alone must be under news ownership and I won't be back more

Long time customer. Went in for service found out manager Ken is no longer with the company. Horrible news. I only went there because of him. Dealt with owner of the store and he has no idea what he is doing. I guess this will be another business going down the drain. I will be visiting other shops from now on. more

I highly recommend Hook Tire & Service in Waxhaw NC 9/22/2011

Hook Tire and Service has incredible customer service, prices are great and they do a terrific job. I have been to many different auto service shops, this is the first time I have felt the shop I was using had the total package of great prices, terrific customer service and they do what needs to be done well, without trying to get you for anything extra. They explain everything clearly, do what they say they are going to do and never try to price gauge. Their prices are lower than other auto service shops I have used in the area. I definitely recommend Hook Tire and Service in Waxhaw NC. more

Very friendly staff. great service. I bring all 4 cars there and never had a problem. My kids all bring there cars in too. They have a very clean shop and showroom. I cant say enough good things. more

Signs are popping up 2/16/2011

Now I know why cars in Waxhaw had magnetic signs attached to their side and back of their cars and trucks saying they got ripped off by Hook Tire. I saw 8 different cars with these signs already. Something definitely not right and I'm not going there anymore. more

EXCELLENT 7/9/2010

I can't say enough good things about Hook and Tire in Waxhaw. Mark; Asst. Manager is absolutely wonderful. I came to him with a broken car and very little hope. He explained the repairs to me in laymen's terms. He took time to listen to my concerns. He worked with me to find the best deal, to get my car repaired. Their demenor, quality of serivce, and quality of repairs were priceless. I am recommending them to all of my friends and family. Especially my female friends - too often we feel taken advantage of in these "car situations". That is not the case at Hook and Tire. God truly blessed me with Hook and Tire. May God Bless Mark, all the staff, and the technitions. more

Don't Go! 2/19/2010

The staff is very friendly and they will gladly work your vehicle in and get the job done very quickly!!! HOWEVER, the past 3 times we have taken are cars up there something goes wrong with something else. My husband has taken the truck up there for an oil change and they will say the ball joints need to be replaced before they have even brought the truck in there! They do this everytime! On my car they forgot to tighten the undercarriage bolts, and the whole thing came off while me and my daughter were traveling. more

BAD SERVICE AGAIN 2/11/2008

Once again I have had bad luck getting my car fixed. I was givien a price to have my brakes done. I was told it would cost 89.00 to have front brakes fixed. When I came back to get my car it was 867.56 for all the brakes . I had to pay to get my car back and I still have a brake problem. They knew I was a single female and they got me good. All I want is good service. Pros: 5 mins from home Cons: NONE more
