Good: The grounds are as nice or better than mose of the other courses in the area.. Bad: Nothing. Improvements: A driving range there.. Other: Homestead is the average mans country club of northeaster PA. The staff is very good. The fact that there is many exotic birds at the course makes it unusual. The flowers all over the course make a round of golf at Homestead a pleasure. The grounds have been modified over the last couple of years and are as nice or better than most of the courses in the area. The cost for golfing at Homestead are very resonable.. more

Homestead Golf Course 8/18/2005

If you golf like me, which is very poorly, this is the course to check out. It's very cheap and the back nine is very short. It's not as nice as some of the other courses that I play, but it's nice enough to keep me coming back. It's usually pretty empty because real golfers go to the better courses. This is extra nice because I don't have people trying to hurry me. more
