The Highland Park Diner is a ""real"" diner, in every sense of the word. It's also *very* popular, so the limited seating causes waits during peak times - but it's worth the wait. We've been going to the HP for almost fifteen years and we've always had a positive experience. The food is delicious, prices are reasonable, service is very pleasant and the ambiance is fun.
Pros: Very good food & service and a great ambiance
Cons: Small, so you'll need to wait during ""peak"" times
