This place is poor quality in many ways. They take way too long to see people, even when they aren't crowded. This is likely because they are understaffed. A personal friend of mine who worked their told me horror stories about the place. They also overprescribe antibiotics, which is irresponsible as a practice. I came in once with my sister, who was legitimately ill and they said it sounded like I had bronchitis and said I should take a z-pack. I had a mild cold. They also had an assistant give my sister an IV to rehydrate. They inserted the IV into her arm wrong and it was extremely painful, as the fluid was not entering her vein, but her muscle tissue. She said that it hurt multiple times, and it took over five minutes before they realized they had done it wrong.\r \r We thought it might have just been a bad day, so we returned to the clinic when they had 20 dollar flu shots advertised. They tried to raise the price from 20 dollars, as advertised on a ten foot banner by the road, to 30 dollars. When we told them that their banner was falsely advertising this, they said the would take it down. They didn't take it down for three more business days. more

Dr. Whaley is outstanding. She is very well-educated, compassionate, kind, caring, everything anyone could want in a doctor. She takes time with her patients, she is thorough and answers any and all questions. She is A+++ in my book! I was referred to her through a friend and I am so eternally grateful! She is a straight-shooter and will tell you what is necessary and she covers all of her bases. If you're looking for a new physician or have an immediate care need - THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! more

I have been going to Dr. Whaley for four years and counting. Every single visit has been a good experience. I have been there for sinus infections, bronchitis, migraine headaches, my daughters broken arm, ear infections and physical exams....to name a few. Every visit has been AWESOME! The visits have been timely and the diagnosis (most importantly accurate). If you are looking for a speedy GREAT place to go, I strongly urge you visit Dr. Whaley. more

My 11-mo old woke up with a 102 fever...so we rushed him to the closest immediate care....as my husband was getting the baby out of the car, I ran in to fill out any paperwork necessary...the receptionist quietly greeted me and as I began explaining about my baby and his temp, she cut me off, and went into the back...about 20 seconds later, without any compassion in her voice said, ""the doctor said to go to the ER""...I looked at her said, 'are you SERIOUS""...""Yes"" was her answer....I look around at the EMPTY waiting room...(and the EMPTY parking lot) and was speechless..she just stood there looking at me. I stormed out just as my husband was turning the corner (parking on the side of the building) and told him we had to go...and to add insult to injury, they had all kinds of gardening tools and pots on the too small sidewalk and I tripped over them in my rush to get back into the car... We ended up at Clarian North ER (116th and Illinois) and they were APPALLED that, not only we were turned away, but that the doctor didn't even come out to explain.... GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE... BTW, Clarian North ER is WONDERFUL!!! They not only helped us...but gave us compassion and superior care. Cons: refused to see my baby..if I could give NO stars, I would. more
