Havenwood Caregiver Svc

I don't normally post to things like this but I just happened to stumble across a negative Havenwood review and was shocked. The Havenwood Caregiver Services that I used was a very professional experience. The caregivers that they sent to my home absolutely saved our family. They presented as well trained, compassionate, and just a pleasure to have in our home. The office staff was responsive to any request or need, they were flexible and let us change the schedule any time we needed. We did that a lot because my brother and sister would always call last minute and want to stay with mom. I highly recommend Havenwood for in home care. Pros: Highly qualified aides, pro-active, responsive Cons: Rates were not the lowest, but were not the highest either. more

Extremely unprofessional. They hire horrible caregivers, and I have dealt with them with my father who was dying, as well as with my son, who is autistic. In both cases, the caregivers were extremely low-quaility. I think they pay minimum wage and these so-called ""caregivers"" are not trained well, if at all. My dying father, who wanted to die at home, had several caregivers from Havenwood. Each were inept and a couple were actually scary! One woman had her father up at my dad's home--her father had just gotten out of prison! She told my father she was in love with him, hoping to get money from him. Regarding my son, this woman luckily never harmed my son, but she was completely irresponsible and wouldn't even show up to watch him when she was expected. It wasn't long before I fired Havenwood. I didn't want the type of people they send anywhere around my family! Cons: There is not one good thing I can say about Havenwood--Beware!! more
