Happy Sunshine Kids Preschool

Please don't send your kids here, especially infants. There are too many teachers in the infant room taking care of 8 babies and they take turns too often so there's not really one teacher that fully concentrates to take care of your baby. So you are never sure if they all fully keep themselves clean or keep the place, toys and things clean all the time. The carpet looks old and need to be replaced but the teachers often have the babies on the dirty looking carpet. Also the teachers don't look trustworthy. Jasmine looks like she's not always telling the truth. And Sarah the owner is hardly there, hard to reach her and you can't contact her because the facility refuse to give you her number to contact. How ridiculous is that? Why? Something fishy is going on, that's why! And she refuse to give you back the tuition for withdrawing my babies without 30 days notices. How can I give 30 days notice when I had to withdraw my baby from being sick after staying in the hospital for 4-5 days because of being severely sick from this school? So please do not send your babies to this school! Send them somewhere else if you don't want them sick. more

My son got severe rotavirus after spending just two weeks at this preschool. He is two years old boy, healthy, has never been sick before. He was admitted to the Emergency room with nonstop vomiting and diarrhea. The school administrator admitted the fact that it has happened before with somebody else. The staff stated that it is ok to be sick, all children get sick all the time. However, the school should be inspected for cleanliness and exposure to this virus. He also got pneumonia and ear infection. \r \r They called me 10 days! after being absent at school. The administrator said that it was my responsibility to call them and inform. However, it shows how much they care about children. When I came to the school to pick my son’s personal belongings, nobody asked how he was feeling, they don’t care. \r \r After my request to return my money, she said that it has to be 30 days advance notice. We only spent two weeks there, and 30 days notice does not make sense. She raised her voice and said that she does not have time for me. The fact that my absolutely healthy child got sick at this school was denied and she ran away.\r \r This explains why there is no waiting list any more. I read many negative reviews before about this school and their court cases. I was taking my chance because I liked the facility. This experience turned out to be very negative. I do not recommend Happy Sunshine Kids to any one, learn from somebody else’s bad experience. Take your time and do the research before you put your child to preschool. \r more

Even though my son has only been at Happy Sunshine a few months my family and I have found lots of wonderful things about the environment. Besides the magnificent facility which is always nice and clean the most precious experience I have had at Happy Sunshine Kids is getting to know the most wonderful people ever! It is indeed a warm place for kids and I believe my son is having a great time learning. I would absolutely recommend this great place to my friends! more

I think this is a great school and my son really enjoys it here. He is still getting used to being around other children and adjusting but everyone at Happy Sunshine Kids is doing a terrific job with him! more

Remarkable!!! Happy Sunshine Kids Preschool is absolutely wonderful. My 4 year old son had a tremendous turn around after attending this school for one week. My son was disrespectful, mischievous, very defiant. He would always TEST authority from other adults now no way. The staff is awesome. They make the learning fun and interesting for all the children. I feel like each child is treated as an individual instead of each child being treated as a whole and that makes a difference. Allow your child to have this experience if you are in this area and you will not be disappointed. more

I love the staff here and my daughter really enjoys going! She has learned so much and my husband and I plan on sending our next child to Happy Sunshine Kids as well! I recommend them to anyone needing a preschool for their kids, they are the greatest! more

My son is very content with Happy Sunshine Kids Preschool. I am the parent of a 4 year old and I am very satisfied with the care that my son has been given. I visited quite a few schools before I decided to choose Happy Sunshine Kids Preschool. The school is very clean and children are happy. The food is healthy and the ratio is lower than many of the other schools. The facility is excellent. The teachers are so nice to my son and the other children in the class. I am fortunate to have found this reputable school. I have no doubt that my son will be ready for kindergarten.Any concerns and issues from parents are taken care of immediately. Bringing my boys here was definitely a good move. It's all they talk about when they come home. They do a lot of different activities with the kids and they learn everything they need to know before starting elementary school. more

This place is truly the next best thing to a mom and dad. Rest assured you can trust them with your kids. When I arrive to pick up my kids they don't want to leave, they are so attached to the teachers here sometime I think they like them more than me :).The staff here keeps everything really clean and they do a great job! more

I really like this place its a one stop kinda place for kids they have a lot of activities like dance and an after school program. They also have an infant center which is pretty cool for moms with different aged kids. I highly recommend because my daughter likes to come here. more

My little girl, Elizabeth, always has good stories to tell me whenever I pick her up. She absolutely loves everyone and everything at Happy Sunshine Kids Preschool. She tells me knew things she's learned, what activities they did, and how nice her teachers are to her. I am very appreciative of the kind care they give my Elizabeth. more

Happy Sunshine Kids Preschool is a wonderful place to get your children learning and interacting with other kids. The staff is wonderfully patient, and loving to my kid, just like if he were their own. I will be forever grateful to them. more

I've had two of my children attend here and they both loved it. They were always happy when we picked them up and told me all the fun things they did that day on the car ride home. It's one of the best preschools in the area and I've already told my friends about Happy Sunshine. more

My son loves coming here and seeing how happy he is when he's out of school is really a parent's dream. The facilities are nice and clean. The staff are caring and compassionate. They all love children and it's greatly appreciated by all the parents. more

If there was a negative rating on this place we definitely would rate it in the negatives. The staff are fa-kingly nice as well as the owner. The some teachers are aggressive with the children, when you complain to the owner she pretends to take note of it but really does nothing about it. She is ALWAYS changing her staff. Everyone is ALWAYS running around like chickens with their heads cut off. She randomly picks times to leave the Center for weeks at a time due to personal issues. The only reason most parents still have their children there is because the owner works with you on the price. She offers to many programs with not enough staff. If you didn't know better you would think she was a blonde. She really tries to help people and tries to be loving and sweet BUT sometimes owning a DAYCARE just isnt for everyone. She does not think before she thinks. And the owner thinks she is ALWAYS right and always is blabbing confidential information out when not allowed. Like I said teacher are rough with the kids. Parents in the infant room always complaining their kids have a rash or something is wrong. Not a good place for kids. This place needs to be shut down ASAP. Also the owner does not like to PAY overtime and follow STATE LAWS!!!!! more

Happy Sunshine Kids is an excellent school. We have 2 kids there, ages 1 1/2 and 3, and they love it. Sarah, the administrator, is an absolute gem. The entire staff are wonderful and they're great with children. The facilities are top-notch. Based on our experiences, I would strongly recommend Happy Sunshine Kids. When we first considered HSK we noticed a number of ""bad reviews"" on some sites. Obviously, this piqued our interest because a parent wants the very best available for his or her child. However, it became apparent after reading the bad reviews that these were written by an individual (or maybe 2 people) who had a vendetta against Sarah. Whether these were former employees or someone with a personal beef I neither know (nor care), but I can assure you based on our experiences that the accusations being hurled at her performance at HSK are completely unfounded. Sarah is one of the most amazing, patient childcare-givers we've ever seen and our kids flat-out love her. Any parent would be lucky to have someone like Sarah involved in the life of his or her child. more
