The overall vibe of this place is a real rude & tense one. I have been there three times to this day and I have been ""scolded"" by the sarcastic smug shop owner because I looked up greysheet on my phone and the owner (He's the guy with glasses and a very VERY smug attitude) got real angry and cocky with me to my face in front of his customers to try and get me publicly humiliated in front of them for his own pleasure. His words were, ""Well I don't know what that stupid thing you're doing on your phone is all about, but you better put it away now!"" Those were his words. Real snarky attitude and I don't understand why this place has any high reviews. It's 1 star at best. I went there today since I'm down in Connecticut for the Holidays and the moment I walked in, the tense cold friction from the sales people were on display and the owner was no different. God forbid I asked him a price on anything, it's like he didn't even want to be bothered or make a sale! Overall, it was just a very uncomfortable environment and like I said before, just an overall TENSE vibe throughout it. I think unless you're Joe Retail and plan on giving away your gold and silver to these people, you won't be treated like a respected customer, but instead you'll be treated like a criminal coming off death row like I was.. Let's not forget the fact that I operate a highly successful coin business. I can't stand when coin shop owner's won't give their skin off their back for you in this economy unless it's to better serve his bottom line. I actually had a wad of cash ready to spend but with his nasty attitude and the PRICES he charges you if he doesn't like you, I'd say you better keep that money stuffed in your wallet and go elsewhere!
