Goddard School

We were lucky to have my mother care for our first daughter but when the second came, we decided to look for part-time care to take some of the burden off of my mother. We visited numerous daycares and ultimately decided on Goddard Mullica Hill. I was extremely nervous about leaving my infant with "strangers" but Goddard was wonderful. They never minded my sometimes multiple calls to check on the baby and made me feel very comfortable. My oldest has a peanut allergy and I don't think any school could be better about dealing with allergies. Both kids loved Goddard and my oldest still gets excited to pick up her younger sister and see the staff. Highly recommend. more

I have 4 boys that have gone to Goddard in Mullica Hill for the past 4 years. I cannot say enough nice things about the management and most staff. Over the past 4 years there were ups and downs but every time the staff were there to keep us informed and worked with us constantly. My boys constantly talk about the fun they have and remember all if their teachers. It is a clean, educational, and caring place to have the early years for a child to be brought up in. As with most places they are not babysitters and parents should take responsibility for their kids behavior and be the teachers. more

Extremely happy with Goddard. We did a few tours of other day cares in the area and thought this would be the best fit for our child. We weren't disappointed. First and most important our child LIKES going and almost always has something to share with us. The facility is clean, orderly, safe and well maintained. The staff is friendly and always readily available for questions and concerns. We were a bit hesitant because of the cost at first but after a few months came to the conclusion it was worth it. We are happy with our choice. more

We also had high hopes for this school. There were many positives when we toured. It was clean, my child seemed to like the teacher and was learning, and it looked safe. However, after awhile, I feel those things that were positives in the beginning, are no longer positives. Is it still clean? Seemingly so. But I feel personal hygiene is not encouraged here (except for the local dentist who seems to be pandering for business). This that pales in comparison to the feeling that my child is limited in subject matter. I don't feel my child has really learned anything in the past few months of value for preparing for Kindergarten. The art supplies are very basic. We see the same construction paper and lollipop sticks for almost every project brought home. I feel for the amount of money we are charged, much better and more fun supplies and better projects should be provided. The curriculum boasts teaching Math, Science and Social Studies, yet I only see more of what my child alrea more

My family had a wonderful experience here. The teachers were great, the classrooms clean, and the management terrific. Though I was not in the classroom on a daily basis, my kids always came home talking about their day.\r \r This was the best value for the money. Looking into other schools, Goddard was actually less expensive than many others and offered a lot more programs that were included in their tuition. The tuition included: computers, spanish, sign language and many others. more

The last 3 years at the Goddard School in Mullica Hill have been wonerful. We moved from the midwest to NJ and were at 2 other preschools in the area before we found this one. I cannot say enough about the caring teachers, owner and director. Both my children loved it! It is the cleanest preschool I have ever seen. I loved the daily sheets I recieved everday telling me what my children were doing. I will always have great memories of the Mother's day tea,(and they had one for Fathers too) and some of the great summer activities. My son's favorite was the bug lady! Our family really enjoyed our experience. more

I wish that I had wonderful things to say about the Goddard school in mullica hill, but I do not. my husband and I signed our first son up with very high hopes for this school. We have has countless issues with them, but just to name a two big ones:\r They called us and said we NEEDED to pick him up right away because he was having difficulty breathing and a high fever. I rushed to get him, and when I got there the woman in the room told me that she had not taken his temperature in a few hours, he did NOT have a fever, but he just "wasnt" himself. I still took him to the DR right away because of the supposed breathing problems, and they said the only problem he was having was a runny nose.. On monday when we went back we asked them why they lied to get us to pick him up when all he had was a runny nose, and they told us they would get back to us, and never did.\r The BIG straw that broke the camels back: I picked him up yesterday and one of the teachers told me he peed through his diaper more

I can't say enough good things about this school! I used to have to drag my poor son kicking and screaming to his previous school; since I've switched him to Goddard I have a hard time getting him to go home. \r \r It's very clear that the ownership and staff really like what they do, and really care about the kids. The facility is clean and bright, the staff is friendly and nurturing, and they strike a good balance between play and education in their curriculum. My son is really engaged there, and is always excited at the end of the day to tell me about what he's learned. \r \r From my experience the cost is comparable to other preschools in the area, but the level of care and professionalism there is beyond compare. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality preschool; your children will be in excellent hands. more

My son could not wait to go to pre-school everyday! The staff is very caring and you can tell they like what they do. The center is extremely clean and well maintained. The communication is outstanding. It is just a friendly, caring, safe, environment that my son loved. He learned so much. I highly recomnend this pre-school! We loved our time at Goddard but the cost was too steep to keep my daughter here. This is a very nice center and the staff is great. Location is very good also. more
