My husband and I were recently in Fl. We live in NYC and we needed to find someplace to move into quick bc I have sick family in Fl so we went to Glenwood. At first all seemed ok and we were shown a trailer and it was Ok. We really wanted the 3 bedroom but was told that it will be available by the time we got back. Anyhow, we gave the 400 deposit, and came up to NY to pack. We would have been down there by Jan1st. Ive signed the lease and started paying rent because I was told I needed to pay the rent on the double wide if we wanted that one. Ive asked for pictures and kept getting excuses on why they werent sent. When I looked at craigslist, there was MY home listed for rent, and this is after I signed the lease. My sister went to see the place for me today and she sent me pics. The windows were busted, there was a 21yr old girl painting the trailer, the back door was broken, the shelves in the refigerator were busted, there was rodents and roaches in the trailer and broken furniture thrown around behind the trailer. Mind you we were told it was in move in condition. Another Neighbor that had been there a week told my sister that he is trying to get out because they do not do anything. His trailer is infested and they will not spray. I almost gave up my home in NY to go to this dump. They lie and cover up. Even after I got the pics, the manager was still telling me that the windows were not broken, but everything will be fixed by the time I got there. Nope, Im not going. Ive requested a refund and Im contacting the dept of heath. Do yourself a favor, dont rent here. more

My fiance and I moved in here we were down our luck trying to get back on our feet. First until you move in you don't really see all the problems. They finance your deposit at loan shark rates. They say it is week to week. It is not it is a one year lease. You pay rent every week so they have more chances for late fees. They finance part of your deposit when it should only cost you 200.00 they charge you 400.00 even though we did not ask them to finance it we had the money to pay the security deposit. There are wholes in wall covered by different scrap wood from other trailers. You can see the ground through the walls. Wholes in the outside of the trailer. Sewage coming up through the pipes so bad I have started getting physically sick. They are roach infested. They have said for 2 weeks in a row that they will fix the things on our work order such as leaky toilet, doors that are not attached or split down the middle and won't close. My oven doesn't work. I pay every week on time and I have lost two days of work because they say they will be out and never show or even acknowledge us. They are horrible and basically just rob people of their hard earned money. They have numerous (over 38 since 2011) code enforcement violations. That is just this one never mind all the parks they own. Check out Hillsborough County Code Enforcement. I will be reporting them tonight. Do Not Rent From These People I only Wished I would of seen something like this before I rented from them. Now I am stuck paying till code can make them fix it. Save yourself the headache. more
