Rude! Rude! Rude! 3/13/2012

I also purchased a voucher from LivingSocial. It was a huge mistake. I've been trying to get an appointment to use the thing for months. Every time I called prior, I got a machine. Today I finally got through to a receptionist. After saying I was calling for an appointment I was put on hold for a long time. Finally someone picked up and asked what I wanted. I said I'd like to book an appointment. I was greater with a 'for what?'. The second I mentioned the voucher, the response I was given was, ""Ma'am, I have no appointments left for those! You can call tomorrow to see if there are any cancelations."" and then I was hung up on. Thanks! Wonderful customer service. I'm hoping LivingSocial will refund the purchase, as I certinatly have no intention of giving any of my money to a place that feels its okay to treat patrons like that. There are plenty of places to get a message, in case they weren't aware. more

Over sold Living Social Deal 1/25/2012

I called to make two massage appointments today for a Living Social Deal purchased back in November. I was told by the receptionist the next available appointment wasn't until October. Ten months from now! When I started asking questions why, the receptionist Sandra became very rude and stated that they obviously over sold the deal. I asked to speak with the owner and was put on hold for a long time. Sandra finally came back and was able to get me an appointment in April. One month after the Deal expires on my voucher. They claim they will still honor it. We'll see. more

If you want relaxing, don't go here! 1/12/2012

The staff here needs some serious customer service training. I spoke to Sandra when I called to make my first appointment for a facial. She was rude, but was at least able to get me in quickly. When I got there the secretary didn't acknowledge me when I walked in (not sure if same person I spoke to on the phone). I had to fight her computer for her attention to say who I was and why I was there. Colleen did my facial. She was extremely nice, but the products did nothing for me. I got better results at the cheap nail salon. At the end she also tried to sell me the products she used. I could already feel there weren't good, plus they were insanely overpriced so I passed. The relaxation was quickly in vain because it took 25 minutes for me to pay and leave because of the rude, distracted secretary. I bought the LivingSocial deal for the massage and acupuncture because I thought it was cheap enough to be worth it. However when I called to make that appointment I was met with the most outrageous phone call ever. I spoke again to Sandra. She was rude and insulting from the get-go. I asked why she was speaking to me like that, and she stated that they were a small business and they sold 1400 LivingSocial deals so they were very busy. I asked her if she thinks that gives her license to be rude to customers. From there on, she basically refused to give me an appointment. I told her certain days I couldn't come and she said those were her only open appointments. Seriously? Luckily LivingSocial was great and gave me a refund. I suggest you stay away from Glastonbury Naturopathic if you are looking for a truly relaxing spa treatment. It's not just the spa service itself that matters. When you have to deal with miserable administrative staff, the relaxation factor is out the window. Worst spa staff I have ever seen. more

Unsanitary Conditions, Unprofessional Staff 12/16/2009

I booked a detox package a few weeks ago - sauna, foot bath and colon cleanse. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to greet me. I waited for 10 minutes, pacing around the waiting room for someone to show. I was introduced to the woman who would be performing the foot bath and colon cleanse, an older woman who was not in the least bit pleasant. I was lead into the room where the procedure was to be performed. It wreaked of feces and felt dirty and unkempt. I was completely disgusted and almost left, but the door was closed firmly behind me and things started happening very quickly. All very uncomfortable. To top it off, in the middle of the cleanse, the therapist answered her cell phone and booked an appointment as I was laying there!!! Incredible. My foot detox was done in a tub that resembled one of those cheap foot baths you get at Walmart. It was portable and felt slimey when I placed my feet in it. The only saving grace was the sauna and shower. A good sweat and shower was just what I needed after this rancid experience!!!! Pros: No Pros Cons: Dirty, Uncomfortable and Over Priced more

A Great Little Spa 12/5/2009

I had a gift card and after reading the negative review posted I was not excited to go, but I shouldn't have worried because it was great. I got a massage and a facial and was extremely pleased with both. Here your treatments actually do last a full sixty minutes, unlike many other places. No one was in a rush here and they take their time to give you a great experience. I will definitely go back. Also their prices are very reasonable compared to other places in the area. Pros: No hurries, very personal more

poor treatment over priced 10/16/2009

all talk, little on delivery. we found the therapists to be inexperienced in every way. High turnover, too much talk during treatment, rude receptionist. overall, we found the experience to be sub-par and far from relaxing. Pros: ample parking Cons: treatments, attitudes more
