I have to say having Kim take our pictures has been one of the best experiences my children and I have had! I have three all different ages and very difficult to get to look at a camera together. I told Kim my goal was one picture for a Christmas card. He didnt get just one but tons! Instead of one for a picture frame I am going to have to use a scrapbook to showcase all the great moments he captured. He is fun and professional and I will definately be calling him every year for family photos.....and hopefully soon for a wedding :) more

I wanted to have the perfect wedding gift for my soon to be husband and I found it! I wanted to do boudior photography, but was concerned about quality along with feeling comfortable in front of the camera. My expectations were surpassed completely! more

We have used Kim for both our wedding photos and pictures of our infant. Everything has turned out beyond our expectations and there seems to be no limit to the lengths that Kim will go to to make the experience wonderful. He came to our home to do the photos of our son, which made the experience so much more pleasant and the results were amazing. I would recomend Kim to anyone. more

Gissendanner Photography did my maternity pictures and they turned out absolutely amazing! Mr. Gissendanner is very personable and made us feel very comfortable. He spent over two hours photographing my husband and I. We were very pleased that several different backgrounds were used. It provided us with a wide variety of wonderful photos to choose from. I was so eager to view our photographs after the session and could not believe that we were able to see them so quickly. All of our photos were pass word protected and posted on-line three days after our session. We have thoroughly enjoyed them being on-line because it has been so convenient for family and friends to view them. We also could not believe how quickly we received our photographs. I placed the order on a Thursday and received them the following Monday. I highly recommend using Gissendanner Photography and we look forward to them working with our family in the near future. more

We used Gissendanner Photography for our 2004 wedding. We researched many other photographers and went with Gissendanner. We were very pleased with our entire experience. Our engagement pictures and bridal portraits turned out beautiful! We have such wonderful memories from our wedding day with beautiful photos. Kim was wonderful to work with and made everyone feel at ease. After losing some of our family members since our wedding, the pictures are truly a blessing to us. We just received our wedding album from our wedding that was photographed by Gissendanner Studio. The results are awesome! Comparing it to friend's wedding albums its obvious that we picked the right photographer. Attention to detail and the design of the album are superb. The choice of materials that they use to put these together is obviously very high quality. The selection process went smooth with everything being put online for me to see. I was very involved with the editing process and I am extremely pleased with the results. It took about 6 weeks to complete the process, I was kinda slow in picking the shots. The only overwhelming part was the selection process because there were so many great shots, over 1500 to chose from. I suggest them if you want creative photography at prices that are very reasonable for a studio like them. I get all happy tears when every I open my wedding album. more

We have used Gissendanner for over 7 years with great results each time doing family portraits and a wedding. It's true it takes a little longer to receive the finished product because of the custom nature, but then I would expect that from a custom photographer. They take care of minute details like removing wrinkles and acne blemishes on my kids. The work has always been creative and we've always been pleasantly suprised when we've come in to look at proofs. Our result with albums and framed portraits has always been wonderful. Now they are making housecalls which makes getting the family together for a portrait much easier. When friends come to my home they are envious of the beautiful canvas portraits I have that have come from them. In my book they are top notch! more

I have been a customer since 2007 and have spent several thousands of dollars on prints, framed portraits, and framed canvas pieces. However, I am severing my relationship with Gissendanner because the wait time for receiving orders is absolutely unfathomable. We had portraits made of our newborn in February 2009 and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED the finished product. Further, they have not attempted to contact us to keep us informed of what's taking so long or when to expect delivery of our order, and when I call to ask, no one answers the phone. Of course, you are required to pay up front, so I have $1,000+ invested in a product that I do not have, eight months after ordering it. This has been our experience every time (last year it took six months to get two 8x10 prints). I understand that custom portrait studios take time to do quality work, but this is completely ridiculous and inexcusable. We were married in November 2006 and still have nothing to show for it! Poor customer service, lots of excuses, no follow-through, etc. Very unsatisfied. Would not recommend this company unless you don't care to spend lots of money and not get pictures in return. Pros: Can't think of one Cons: No wedding album and very poor customer service. more

We've used Gissendanner Photography for two daughter's weddings and the result were spectacular. The quality of the photography is excellent and their attention to detail is unmatched. Our family has used their studio for several years and we've always gotten more than we expected. I find it hard to believe that jmm2474 below experienced a problem below. Maybe they expected one hour photo turn-around from a high quality studio like theirs? I know Kim personally and he is a pleasure to deal with and anytime we've had a problem he's been more than happy to remedy the situation. They do a lot more design to their wedding albums. They even removed unwanted things and made me look beautiful! We hope that they'll be around for many years to photograph the grands. Pros: They are a there full time. The photos they took of my kids were great. We have been waiting to recieve more copies of the photos for 9 weeks!! Phone calls aren't returned. Lot's of excuses. Use this company only if you can wait a while to get the finished product. Pros: great photos! Cons: A very long wait for the finished product. more

I was married in June 07' and after many attempts to get my wedding album, as of today April 24th 2008 I have yet to receive any pictures from the studio. Multiple excuses have been given as to why we have not received our albums.
