We love the sushi at Ginza; the creative rolls and the fresh fish. Yet when the Japanese owner is away, the little employees (from the sushi rollers to the servers) don't really care how they come across. This is unfortunate because we thought we finally found a great place, reasonable prices, no lines, but the service we received the last time we ate there was unpleasant and we won't return. First, the poor attitudes of the young boys behind the sushi counter comes across loud and clear when they don't even greet you when you come in or thank you when you leave. Second, the server we had seemed more interested in her prom-queen looks than attending to her customers. She rarely checked on us (as we were ready and willing to order even more sushi), and it didn't seem like she enjoyed her job or her work environment. Her attitude, similiarly to the sushi rollers, came across as apathetic and the ""let's hurry and close so we can cash out our tips."" Ginza needs to hire new friendly employees, and once they do this, we will return happily!!! So please, Ginza owner, you really need to clean house and find better employees who will represent your business in a positive way.
