I took my vehicle in today to have Garcia1 check why my engine light kept coming on. They completed a diagnostic for FREE and reset the computer. I was impressed by the friendly attitude of the owner who went above and beyond to explain everything to me and what I needed to do next. I will definitely consider Garcia1 for future vehicle maintenance needs based on the customer experience I had. I have been trying to find a local place that I can trust and based on the reviews I have seen and the experience I had - this could be the place! more

I have been burned a few times with car garages who look at me and think I don’t know what I’m talking about with cars. So when I take my car in for an oil change and end up being told I have $1,000 worth of things needed, you can imagine I’m not too happy. I honestly feel for the first time that those days are over. I recently gave Garcia1 garage a shot, they didn't try and upsell me or force me into buying anything I don’t need. Very please with my experience here. more

I am surprisingly pleased with how friendly the mechanics are at this place! From the minute I walked in the door, to the second they handed me back my keys I was treated with a smile. They fixed my car and gave me the confidence to drive it again, in a timely manner that didn’t effect the rest of my life. I highly recommend more

100% Customer Satisfaction 3/10/2012

Auto Mechanic's are one of the most taunted and discriminated against industries, close behind attorneys. They always get a bad rap. No one brags about great service because cars don't speak for themselves. The majority of the people who write reviews about cars repair shops are to complain or vent because they would rather be spending the money on other things. Who likes to pay for car repairs? We put gas in them, change the oil, tires and brakes once in a while and think we're on top of the maintenance. Do you blame the doctor when you get sick and he finds something else is wrong with you? When you go in for an ingrown toenail and he tells you that you are overweight and have high blood pressure, do you blame the doctor, your parents or your diet? This is not the case with a mechanic. People always neglect their cars and tend to point the blame to a mechanic or the manufacturer. I have been going to this shop for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences. Maybe this is because I TAKE CARE OF MY CARS and don't ignore the need for ongoing maintenance! I have had plenty of cars and would never trust some $8 an hour dropout at a franchise place to even change my oil after I spent $30K on a vehicle. Think about it... more

Best auto repair shop on the northside! Really! 1/29/2012

After taking my car to a local shop, I was told my car could not be repaired, it needs a new engine, parts and labor close to $8,000.00. He said don't drive too far. Afraid to drive the car I had it towed to Lincoln Automotive Group. He called the next day and said pick up your car, running fine, total cost $367.00. \r That was 3 months ago and driving over 4,000 miles, it is still running great. Thank god it didn't cost $8,000.00! It has over 116,000 miles and I love my 2003 Lincoln Aviator. I hope to keep it for another 100,000 miles. I know where I will take it for service from now on. Great feeling to trust an honest and knowledgable mechanic! Thanks again Lincoln Automotive! more
