Funny Faces Bed & Biscuit

I've know the current and previous owners of Funny Faces for many years and have boarded my animals there since they first opened. I have complete confidence in the care of my animals when I leave them at Funny Faces. Their prices are great and the facility is safe and clean. I've been there when there have been ""demanding"" or ""unreasonable"" customers and the owners handle them with the utmost respect to try and address their concerns. We've taken our pets to Funny Faces off and on for several years. During the early years, we were always confident that our pet was being well taken care of by folks that truly cared about our loved ones. Our opinion has changed; after the passing of the current owners caring, wonderful, parents, we?ve noticed a difference, subtle at first but now it's to the point that we?ve become uncomfortable about returning, a feeling that has been shared by others we?ve spoken to. During the last couple of years we've noticed changes: Simple communication with them is terrible, they never answer their phones, and fail to call back and it takes several attempts to finally make contact even if you drive up, unannounced. Their email response is also slow. When you do make contact, the owner, Tim Jr. is without the type of personality that you feel comfortable with when leaving your pet. He doesn't appear to at all care for the pet, (or for the owner) and makes you feel that their just a means to making his living. They've changed their layout and it appears that this was done not for the pets but for more 'infill'. I hope you understand the picture as I feel that it has become. Even though this facility is nice it is not worth the problems you will receive with Tim Jr. This man is a wack job and needs help. He has had animals die on him while in his care and this poor sap below obviously has no clue what he is talking about! Yes, we are in the military too and they DO give a nice discount but it is still not worth coming home to a dog on its death bed! I find it VERY interesting and ignorant that you take an attack on Halfmagic when SHE refused his job opportunity because she didn't want to work for an idiot. Don't attack people when you have no idea of what went on. This man had to have the police called on him and then tried to attack a police officer. You might want to recheck your sources! THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST KENNELS IN THIS AREA ESPECIALLY FOR MILITARY MEMBERS!!!!!! I was so disturbed to read the halfmagic Review! I have been taking my animals to Funny Faces for about 8 years and believe they provide an outstanding service to both Lemoore NAS as well as the surrounding communities. I have left my animals two Labs and a Cat with them every couple of months and for all major deployments up to a six months at a time and have never had a single issue. In fact they have even provided updates on my pets when I have been deployed and it is always been positive. Upon my return the labs are in better shape due to the dog run, they get a lot of exercise at Funny Faces which is nice because they usually lie around the house and get fat! ? As Far as the owners go?.. I knew Tim Sr. and Sharon before they passed away; two of the nicest people you would want to know and Tim Jr. although he is a big guy and if you were an extremely timid person you might be leery of him, but he is a teddy bear (sorry Tim) and if you ever see him with the animals you?ll know right away that he is NOT the person described above. I have taken my dogs to this kennel a few times. It is very clean and well maintained, however, after being gone for Christmas I came back to pick up an emaciated dog literally on it's death bed (looked like a dog in those SPCA shows). I had over $650.00 in vet bills when my dog had to be hospitalized and yet this man NEVER even called to warn me that my dog was getting thinner! He then proceeded to call and yell at me, that me and my husband were not smart enough to tell him that my dogs weight had been fluctuating prior to bringing her in (which was not the point). He had emergency contacts and numbers for us and we never got a warning! This man is intimidating and rude when you don't agree with him. I would NEVER trust this man with my pets!
