Community involvement 8/30/2017

I have been a member of various Churches of Christ over the years and this is the first one I found in 30 years that has a strong involvement in the community. This includes child care, help with elderly, marriage counseling, and much more. I have been damaged by religion in the past, this church has never judged me in the past 2 years that I have been a member. I asked and encourage anyone who is hurting, or empty, to find love here. more

Nice church 10/25/2005

This is a nice church. The people were all very welcoming and made sure to greet us. The preacher was pretty good as well. It is a pretty good sized church. They have a number of activities to get involved in. They also have a school that is held there during the day, so that is kind of neat. If you are in the area, than I would recommend checking this church out. more

Church! 8/21/2005

The Friendswood Church of Christ is a great place of worship and fellowship with God and other fellow believers. The youth group is greatly involved in the community and is a loving, accepting environment. Sunday services start at 10:15AM, but the classes start at 9AM. Mike McAlister is a great preacher and a God-fearing devout leader of his congregation. The worship is traditional and contemporary hymns with four part harmonies. more
