A++ 8/3/2011

When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deliver a great meal that I really enjoyed, only the portion was so small that I left feeling hungry still. The price wasn't worth the meal. However, the ambiance is very nice. more

Awful 3/5/2009

Do not subject yorself. Food bad. Service horrid more

Poor service, cold food 1/28/2007

We had high hopes but it wasn't a good experience. My husbands veal shank was cold in the middle - they just didn't heat it all the way through. We pointed it out to the waitress who apologized, but they didn't take it off the bill. The service was disorganized and painfully slow. I know it's a family-run place, but they need to work on their execution and organization. more

Suprisingly Great a Diamond in the Ruff 2/14/2006

Upon 1st aproach it doesn't look like much but it's what's inside that counts. Service was superb, ambiance was unexpectedly pleasent and even delightful. The ingredients were top notch. Gravlax and caviar were salty and flavourful while the olive oil for dipping bread was fresh and yummy. The main courses were traditional French fare with small portions but excellent in design. I'm going back again would you like to join me? Pros: Excellent Service, Owner Operated, Owner's Are French more

Nice French restaurant in Long Beach. 11/3/2005

Every thing is wonderful here. Foods is tasty, service is attentive and price is less than other french restuarant. The only drawback is finding the parking space to park your car. Why? only street parking. It's not big deal because the whole dining experience is unforgetable later on. Pros: food, service Cons: parking space more

Frenchy's, best secret in Long Beach 3/9/2005

If you know food, Frenchy's Bistro is the little piece of wonderful on Anaheim Street. It is hidden in a strange strip mall. If you appreciate the simplicity of classic franch food, this is the place. The pate, house smoked salmon, the sole and the sand dabs are top notch. They are resonably priced and I am excited whenever I am able to dine at Frenchy's. If you know anything about French Bistro cuisine, you'll want to go to Frenchy's. Pros: Food, Food, Food more

Better than ever! 1/8/2005

Frenchy's has found it's niche. Really good French Bistro food that you can depend on when it comes to flavor and depth. The best Souffle in LA also. more

I love this restaurant 8/2/2004

A cozy neighborhood restaurant with a professional, well-trained staff which knows their food and wine, Frenchy's is one of those places which keeps us coming back again and again. We've yet to try a bad wine yet based upon the waiter's expertise. I've had sole so fresh and utterly perfect, it could make a person weep; lovely sand dabs; succulent duck with orange sauce. Too ambitious may've been the pairing of salmon with crabmeat and lobster sauce. Onion soup or really any soup is just fine and I can't imagine not ending my meal with one of their grand marnier soufflés. Pros: Reliable specials more

A huge disappointment! 10/26/2002

Romance in Long Beach! 7/29/2002

Frenchy's has the romanticism of a small, family-owned restaurant. Yet the menu offering is as varied and eclectic as shipboard buffet. Everything is served to perfection, from appetizers to desserts. Then there's the world class wine bar. This place has it all! Pros: romantic, great food Cons: street parking more
